Where do away teams stay in DC?

Well as you know... no one scores in DC so does it matter? ;-)

 

One place is the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Crystal City, VA. Many teams stay there. 2 blocks from Crystal City Metro stop on blue and yellow line. Usually the visiting team would go by bus to RFK stadium 2 hours before the match. If you're interested in meeting or getting autographs hang out there at that time. Im talking about the MLS men teams.
I dont know where the WUSA women are staying.

I used to work in Crystal City and met a few MLS players.

 

I work in Crystal City and have often seen MLS players.

I met the whole Revolution team (Lalas, Joe-Max Moore, etc.) a few years ago (Hilton) walking to Pentagon City Mall.

I met Jurgen Sommer of the Revolution last year at Starbucks across from Pentagon City Mall (Crowne Plaza).

I met almost all of the German national team at Pentagon City Mall (they were staying at the Ritz-Carlton), just before the 1994 World Cup.

The Roundtree is the hotel foreign national teams have used during qualifiers, e.g. Guatemala, Honduras, etc., due to its proximity to RFK.

 

I'd be careful Jose, they might start bringing you up on charges as a stalker.

 

According to the MLS media guide the official hotel for visiting teams in DC is the Key Bridge Marriot.

 

They stay in my basement, bound and gagged.

 

It doesn't seem to have any effect.

Maybe we need to all take a trip to the gimp room in Meridian's basement so that we can all have such great goal-scoring success on our club teams.

Um...Meridian...I think they were talking about the mean's teams.

But, can I visit your basement next time one of those WUSA teams is in town? I kind like the look of Lorrie Fair.

Isn't your team the Earthquakes? And doesn't Landon play for them? And he is so dreamy ... Maybe if you ask nicely Meridian will let him out of his basement.

If you know Landon then why not ask him where the Quakes are staying when they are here? He'd probably know more than us DC fans.

Just FYI---if ya wanna see Landon (or any other young MLS type) I would check 18th street around bar close.

Last saturday, I was leaving Ozio on M street around 2am and saw Landon holding hands with three HOT women. They were leaving 1223 and heading to Five for a little late night partying.... I wouldn't have minded jumpin on that train, but alas, he seemed to have the situation under control.

 

I'm married, out of the scene, you know...but how do you hold hands with three women at once? Oh, wait a minute...
