For what its worth, I think the difference between Sigi using this strategy and some of the other teams doing it is simply this: Sigi has already got under contract a stable of relatively young guys whose talent he likes: Vagenas, Califf, Victorine. He can afford to swing for the fences becuase at the time of the last draft (and maybe the one before it) he didn't have a real need to fill and there was no obvious upgrade on the table waiting to be picked. I won't argue whether it is brilliant or everybody does it. That doesn't interest me. What I do say is that given his roster it made sense for him to employ the long shot strategy. If you were drafting for DCU or maybe even Crew, it is a strategy which makes a lot less sense.
You through in these week negative jabs, wtf do you expect? Your soccer discussion consists of you putting down everything anyone says. You're discussion consists of saying our "drafts" have ended up yielding jack squat, when we're shown you it hasn't, given glinton has played INCREDIBLY well before his injury, getting a few winners, and causing trouble in numerous games.
