That poll is flawed. The option for Brazil was only included after I voted for 'Elsewhere'. And why do we have USA and UK options while there's not Uruguay or Paraguay?

eugene is uruguayan?! That news to me cuz I thought he was american, even though it makes sense since he's also a Penãrol fan.

weird...I was born in Arlington too and I couldn't imagine being unpatriotic since all our national monuments are in view across the Potomac. But if you just lived here for a little while then maybe I could understand you not saying you are American. My parents are from Peru (Arequipa: they sort of regard themselves as a seperate entity). Here's a story: My grandparents came to visit in 2001 and my grandfather always watched la seleccion Peruana. So I took him to a local Argentinian bar in Clarendon to watch Peru-Argentina WC 2002 qualifier that took place in Lima. We didn't have the best of seats and the screens were sort of small. I was just ogling at some Argentinian hottie that didn't look that much different from EFernandez's avatar :). Peru lost 2-1 and it was raining so I ran to get the car parked a few blocks away and picked mi abuelito at the door of the bar. I didn't think much of it, I was just sort of happy to watch a soccer game with family because I my mom was a single mom and we had no relatives here. Only until my grandparents called my home when they got home in Peru, did I hear how much mi abuelito enjoyed watching the game with me. Sort of nice, we're both quiet type of guys but I guess he saw a resemblance in me that everyone says is uncanny compared to his 40 other grandchildren. So I always root for Peru just to keep the bloodlines flowing even though I will always put the USA first. Anyways, as I was taught as a kid:

    YO SOY CHIQUITO
    DE ALTO VALOR
    VIVA MI PATRIA
    VIVA PERU.....******************!!!!!
