Yuri Morales having a great pre-season with the Earthquakes.

But what about the rest of the Victory squad?
    Please post any info here.

    Hey Alexi:

Was talking to Coach Van Straatum at the game on Saturday night and he gave me a little bit of a rundown:

Ricardo Sanchez: Even after his dog urinating incident up there, Minnesota is interested in bringing in Ricardo this year.

Eric Reed: The Enforcer is in camp with Chivas USA. Would love to see him land a spot down there.

Mike Munoz: Coach said he is also in camp with Chivas USA.

Chucky Kim: Is playing down in SoCal with an elite club team that is run by the guy who almost took over the Vics franchise.

Ryan Suarez: Had a second kid and is now doing the steady job thing to take care of the family.

Luis Aguilar: Signed an extension with Montreal.

    Josh Hansen: Released by Vancouver.

I'm missing a couple of more, but that is a decent rundown.

    Cheers,

    Roma

Also Mike Randolph who was on loan for several games with the Vics last year is playing regularly for the Galaxy and was recently called up to the USA Under23's.

Got to see him play last weekend in Seoul and looked good out there on the pitch

Also Mike Munoz and Josh Hansen had a try out with the SJ Earthquakes and now are also trying out with the Puerto Rico Islanders.

You can follow their progress on Mike Munoz's Blog

For those who don't know Yuri was not offered a contract by the Quakes but has accepted a position in their front office. I know all of us wanted him to make the squad but for now Yuri we wish you the best in whatever you do.

Its too bad Yuri won't be playing for the Quakes but I'm glad to hear he is still with the team. Yuri was great working with the 1906 this year for the Victory in the front office and I'm sure he will rock it as well for the Quakes

Damn dude. I didn't know if the thread title referred to ex Vics players or you!

Glad to know you are alive and well :)

For those that got to know Mike Pizzo in the Vics front office, he also got a job with the Quakes as well. Plus he will be helping the Seals this year also.

Awesome to hear about Hansen. Maybe they remembered that goal he scored last year there.

Looks like Munoz has been playing on some of the Earthquakes reserve games

Also Eric Reed Got picked up by the USL-2 Cleveland City Stars

Kiel hasn't gotten much time this season, but Eric has done a damn good job in goal.

If you guys have a supporters section when Reed makes a stop in goal chant:

    "WHO'S The ENFORCER??"

    "ERIC REED!!"

Its was what the 1906 used last year for his many stops in goal.

If you do let me know how it goes!
