I don't see this train wreck getting better anytime soon.

So it leads me to ask:

This is our third coach in a season and a bit. We need to give him until the end of the season and if it doesn't work out, lets get AVB back. I will find it pointless if we sack NES before the end of the season to get a temporary coach.

Hopefully he turns it around soon but what is irritating me is the fact we have guys like Diogo Jota, João Teixeira, and Oliver Torres as natural 10s and he puts Andre Andre a traditional CDM as a CAM.

Brahimi and Corona need to be the wingers with Otavio playing anywhere in the attacking third besides striker.

Also the likes of Adrian needs to be a starter. Also we should of never loaned out Ricardo Pereira and Hernani.

    Hopefully he turns it around

I've never seen Diogo Jota or João Teixeira play but Adrian a starter? I don't think so. From what I've seen of him in the past season and a bit, we shouldn't have signed him.

    I'm sticking to December.
I like NES and hope he proves me wrong but I just don't see it.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    AVB ain't coming back.

I say February after a failed transfer window fiasco and a fist fight with Brahimi on the field

Hopefully Andre Silva starts to be more clinical and gets decent service

Our midfield and offense are quite talented, it's the defense that is atrocious. We need to buy AT LEAST one good CB in December.

I agree that I don't think the coach is a problem for now.

NES has a bright future as a TED speaker.

He'll need that job when he gets canned.

His llittle ' Ted Talk' pretty much says everything about NES.
    He's full of sh it.

Smartest thing he has ever done. Sport TV and SIC just creamed themselves. Job is lined up.

    Tic toc, tic toc.......

Failure vs Brugge will make NES' life very hard at Porto. The Benfica game will either make him a temporary hero or get chased down bairro do Cerco.

Have you lost complete faith in him? I think we've improved with him onboard BUT there are still many issues for the previous seasons. I think there's issues beyond and out of NES' hands.

I've always said that this wasn't a good move for NES because our team has sucked for a few years now. I like NES but he will get fired if Porto lose these next few important games. I really wished we stuck with one coach and rebuild but PDC wants immediate results which makes me think he is living in the twilight zone.
Even our scouting has disappeared and who ever thought the Belgian pylon was a good buy needs to get slapped.

The Maicon incident last year highlights our team's spirit. The captain doesn't even feel it so how could the rest of our players.

    I have lost faith

Rather have stuck with Peseiro as he has Braga playing smart football.

Lopetegui is even having a good year

Peseiro wasn't given a chance at all. We made him look silly and he was still a class act thanking the club after he left.

How Peseiro actually said something positive about the club as he was bitc h slapped out of the club is beyond me.
He's a better man than me, because I wouldn't be as diplomatic.

As for NEC, I'm sticking to December, I think that'ts what I said.
I'm so sure he's going to get canned that I'm tempted to start a 'Who is going to replace NES? thread. My last straw with this man was his press conference last week. It was embarrassing for him and confirmed that he doesn't know what the fu ck he's doing

I agree that there are a lot of factors out of his hands, but ultimately he's responsible, fair or not.
Then again I've seen coaches with less do more than he has done. There's talent on this team, sure we have some issues but hasn't been able to tap into what we have.

Having said this, the SAD really needs to get their sh it together. For starters, they need to turn the page on Brahimi. Sell him to Everton for whatever and let's call it a day. He's a talented, individualistic twat who needs to go. We could use the $$$$$.

As much as I hate to say this, we need to continue to play the Belgian pylon. He needs to be given more time to get his shi t together. What other choice do we have? We bought him for a considerable sum of $$$$ so let's use him and pray he turns into something.
