Anyone out there that is "in the know" have any ideas? I noticed that he hasn't played the last two fixtures.
Probably won't play until at least an injury to Campbell or Keown. He could be farther down the pecking order of back-up defenders too.
Typically, Le Boss does not rush new signings, especially foreigners, into the lineup. Instead, he has them watch a few games so that they get an idea of the pace of the English game first. In addition, he will likely have to beat out Matthew Upson, who played a significant amount of time in central defense last season, in addition to current starters Sol Campbell and Martin Keown.
