..he made a big mistake going to the US to help promote football there when he is so many times better than any other player out there and all it will do is make him a worse player. Trouble is in Europe he wasnt even really considered to be world class (i.e Ronaldinho, Gerrard, Kaka or Cristiano ronaldo) but yet he makes the MLS look even worse because he shows up the failings of the players around him. Everone knows that it was 99% money orientated but with the wealth he has anyway he could be playing in the Champions League every year for another 5 years which is by far considered the most important tournament out of every competition there is even including the World Cup and playing in some of the most prestigious cups like the FA cup. He will never win a medal now that actually means anything which i think if he is still a LA player this time next season will be the downfall of him as a player.
Funny, I tried to read your post but all I could get out of what you were saying was, "I'm a wanker, I take it up the bum, and I am also a class A retard." Beckham made a life choice be it for the money or not. He is in a completely different environment and is exactly where he is needed. Why languish on the benches of big Euro teams as younger players start to show their worth and speed over him? He is slow now, it is obvious, but his crosses are still deadly. He is more than useful to MLS, a league that is up and coming, and is STILL (may I remind you) a baby league. In a few years no team will be playing on crappy NFL lines, no team will be without a real home, and the league will be healthier than ever. Since we are not part of EUROPE (where the gods play their best footballers day in, day out) we must make regional competitions more exciting and more meaningful. Mexican football teams are not to be scoffed at and they are the future of our rivalry. Sorry Beckham didn't want to play for your Europe, which he has done for decades, he is now on US shores and when healthy will show his worth once again.
Its not like this was some spur of the moment decision. the Galaxy and beckham have been talking for at least the last 3 years. Doug Hamilton starting laying the ground work for this before HDC even opened. That being siad I am sure he has an option to get out in his contract at the 2 or 3 year mark. We'll have to wait and see. Certainly not a mistake to come here build his brand and make 40-50 Mill year to boot, poor Becks
