Not sure if they have any of THOSE in Blackburn. edit: Ref losses the plot in the Arsenal/City match, two weak ass straight reds for Zabaleta and Sagna. Sucks.
Sagna should of seen red. Zab didn't really do anything apart from push him away when Sagna squared up to him.
Both should've gotten a yellow for that. If you're going to act tough, do it the right way and throw a face slap or a right swoop at the sucker. This head to head stuff is completely ridiculous, they don't even do that in women's football.
Bilbao equalize and Guardiola is trying to make it look like he's not sh*tting bricks on the sideline. Good enough for me
I agree - ridiculous! I love listening to Steve McManaman. The line of the night was when referring to his well paid stint at Real Madrid: "it's good work if you can get it!"
He and Darke are brillz together but I have confessed my love for them individually (for different reasons) so I may be bias McManaman is darn good commentator though in his own right.
Barca go on to the next round, but they had their pants full. An interesting story: More than a few years ago, when David Villa became the big shot for Spain and Valencia i was listening to the radio and a journalist said that David Villa was the player that doesn't play for the fans, or the club that pays him. He plays for FC David Villa. If he doesn't score, the game is crap regardless. Back then i could see it a bit, and i actually forgot about it, being so many years ago, but i thought about that tonight when i watched him walk off the field. Something about him makes you feel that he felt better at Valencia, in a less successful team, but with more personal glory. Yeah, same here. I can't root for Barca or be neutral. I improved this reflex with Bayern, and am indifferent when they play in the domestic competitions (mostly because i don't support any certain BuLi club), but i can't help it with the Cules.
Bilbao really wanted to win that they deserved it over the two legs. They played great best ive ever seen them play.
Barceonla will now walk to the final. I see no one stopping them. They now face either Getafe or Real Betis in quarterfinals and after that Possible semifinal opponents for Barcelona are Deportivo la Coruna, Cordoba, Almeria and Mallorca. We have it tougher. We will face either Atletico Madrid or Espanyol in the quarterfinals. Potential semifinal opponents are Villarreal, Valencia, defending champion Sevilla, and Malaga (managed by Manuel Pellegrini)
Boring, boring city. Well I had some sweet and sour chicken with soft noodles because that was shocking.
We need a poll: "Who gets fired first? Ancelotti or Hodgson?" I vote Ancelotti but only by a few minutes.
If they were playing each other soon they could perhaps battle it out over a pink-slip match? Houllier has to be on the verge, too.
