West Ham United (first), Blackpool (fourth), and Birmingham City (fifth) are all in contention to be promoted back to the Premier League. What's the most clubs relegated from the Premier League (or First Division) to be promoted back up the next season?
I think there have been a handful of years where two have come back, but I don't think all three ever have. Three up/down only started in the 70s. www.rsssf.com, in the domestic club histories section, will reveal all.
