That the best pic you could find? Do the man justice, he is a hero:

Mine is a picture of the man without either uniform. You can post yours for what's right with your America, but this is what I chose with actual care...

Now that I've finished my little gallery and thought about this in depth...

You know that's a pretty crappy response; I chose to salute someone you apparently think I should admire, and chose a picture that shows him relaxed and maybe enjoying a part of his short life. Instead of recognising some basis for agreement, you complain that I did it wrong? WTF? Is there some sort of joy in finding wedge issues in EVERYTHING?

If you chose with care… no worries. My initial impression was "Why pick that pic? No one will even recognize Tillman".

Anyway, right or wrong it is not my America but our America. Let's make it better.

Thanks to MitH for the idea:

Tailgating in general, that is, not the 'Dawgs specifically.

Understand where you're coming from, just think it wasn't a great picture only because you can barely make out his face...I honestly had to look at "Properties" to see who it was.

In both this thread and the "What's wrong with America" thread, you have chosen to post provocative pictures/ideas. That's one way of doing it. Most people have taken these threads as an opportunity to find common ground, not to criticize each other.

I must be reading different threads. There have been plenty of previous posts on both threads that have been political or partisan. Anyways, they are provocative to you because they aren't "mainstream liberal". Maybe if I post a Free Tibet bumpersticker you won't be offended.

Sadly, not enough of this, and too much of some "other" motorsports. But still, there are some good folk soldiering on.
