What would it take to get Defoe from spurs?

    watching his goal in the North London Derby, I just have to say wow. What an unbelievable strike. World class.

    I would say it would take about 10-14mil GBP. The question is though, why would Spurs sell him. He's about all of the offense they have right now.

    I can only think of one reason: he is English ;)

    If so, why did you let go of two English strikers? :rolleyes:

    Defoe's a class act alright. The new Jimmy Greaves, in many ways. Without the penchant for cheap brandy, though.

    As to what it would take to get him - too much money and the departure of either Baros or Cisse.

    He has obvious talent, but doesn't seem to 'stick his nose' into any tough tackles. (based on the London derby I watched last weekend anyway)
