What shows are you counting down the days until they come back from summer break? and what new shows do you think look good. I am waiting for NCIS, boston Legal, two and a half men, and even thought it just ended Psych. That show was funny!
Returning: Lost 24 Family Guy The Amazing Race The Office Doctor Who Life On Mars New: Heroes Studio 60
Returning: Battlestar Galactica Lost NCIS Family Guy The Amazing Race My Name is Earl The Office Doctor Who Life On Mars New: Heroes
Out of all new shows coming out, I'm anticipating Heroes the most...it's pretty much the same as a comic book series I really loved.
I thought I would be the only one that wanted to see Heroes. Lost 24 The Unit I already had one show come back. The Closer. I'm sure there's more. And according to a commercial I just saw you can get a free download card from certain movie theatres for a free episode of Heroes or something. www.cinemedia.com has details
New network shows: Heroes, Jericho and Day Break (which will be in the Lost slot when Lost goes on break after six episodes). Returning network shows: Lost, Desperate Housewives, House, Survivor, Amazing Race, and of course America's Next Top Model. I think I'm finally giving up on Smallville. Cable shows: Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who.
Waiting for: House, Bones Waiting and waiting for: Psych (next January) Waiting and waiting and waiting for: Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis (waiting for the DVD release, as I don't get SciFi)
I was thinking the same thing. Rising Stars was awesome. By the way, what the hell is Jericho about? I keep seeing tv spots for it but can never piece together what exactly it's about.
Yeah, Heroes = Rising Stars. Of course, The 4400 on USA is also kind of like Rising Stars. Jericho is basically "Lost", in Kansas, with mushroom clouds. It's a serial drama (i.e. don't miss an episode or you'll get lost) about a bunch of people who live in a small town in Kansas, and they see mushroom clouds on the horizon, and they are unable to communicate with the rest of the world to find out what is going on. Like "Lost," we the viewers will not know what is going on either so we will discover things along with the characters.
The wire http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/arts/entertainment-leisure-wire.html 'Writing in the New York Post, critic Adam Buckman declared, ''The shows are so powerful -- so well-written, acted, filmed and edited -- that the experience of watching them has left me a complete wreck. ``I am so blown away by this show that I will go out on a limb to declare that these 13 episodes just might comprise the single finest piece of work ever produced for American TV.''
