I was arguing with my friend about DC movies this morning. DC does not make good movies. Nolan made 2 great Batman films because it was Nolan. They're trying way too hard to be Marvel with the connected universe deal but they have yet to make any of the movies part of that universe compelling. Think i'm going to catch Jason Bourne tonight as an early B-Day present to myself since I couldnt go last week and have been sick the past couple days. Looking forward to it if only for hearing the riff for "Strange Ways" (Which better still be the closer) blast through the theater.
I was supposed to see Bourne on Sunday as well but, had to give my ticket away again because of work. I saw Suicide Squad this morning. It's not as bad as critics said, but it falls very flat. And Jared Leto is no Joker I recognize. Cringeworthy.
Shaka Zulu is on Netflix. Henry Cele was a menacing mofo. this is a signing I could get behind. If Shaka said 'HauptmanOut' Hauptman would be out. If youre too young to remember 1980s mini-seriees check out Shaka Zulu for certain.

I saw the Samuel L Jackson hunting King Kong on an Island trailer in front of Suicide Squad the other day. Looked good. Stupid but, good. But, hey I'll see anything once.
I'm watching Sweden vs. Argentina in Women's handball. (Although I just saw an epic upset with Angola over Romania) I think I might watch this instead of the game.
