Which (insert team name) USA would you like next?

Which international team would you like to have an MLS franchise like Chivas?

None. I wouldn't like to see another Chivas type team in MLS.

None for me thanks. We need our own soccer brand. There's a real reason Chivas was granted an MLS team, and that was to try to attract the mexican-american soccer fans in the US to MLS. There's is absolutely no reason why any European or South American teams would do this. Perhaps Club America will be awarded a team for Houston or San Antonio. That's it, but I'm not a big fan of the idea.

I'm not a huge fan of the concept, but I would like to see a Club America run team in Houston to make a Super Clasico Norte. But that's about it, definitely not any South American or European USA teams.

I wish they would get rid of the USA though, ugh.

    CD Los Angeles (Chivas)
    CA de Houston (Aguilas/Eagles)

Club america might work in Houston since it doesnt yell mexican like chivas does, If Club America Houston markets themself as americas team or an american team it has potential. As long as they dont go with the USA moniker which sounds extremly stupid i.e Chivas USA and as for a super classico that won't happen until we have two teams that consistantly dominate so far DC united the only team thats been winning championships more than anyone.

Interesting, we see that the "None" option is ahead but if you combine the total votes for those picking a team it is 27 to 20 or 47.45% to 42.55% so by a small margin we're able to conclude that foreign ownership of MLS teams IS WANTED depite how BigSoccer's resident Anti-Eurosnob Squad may feel about it. No wonder many clubs are actually considering it.

Well i am one of those people who gets accused of snobbery often and I don't want any foreign identity teams here.

Foreign ownership is an entirely different matter.

I would take 5 Vergaras before I take 1 Milan Mandaric.

I welcome foreign ownership I just don't want any foreign brands.

I would have to say Man U or Arsenal. Preferably Man U though, since they have the greater name recognition. Whether you like the Red Devils or not, they would boost prestige for MLS.

I think if we are going to go the foreign team route, we need an english club before another "non-english speaking team". Americans will better identify with a Man U team than a Club America, etc.
