Is there a tie-breaking procedure in place? I can't imagine MLS would let this end in a tie today after the baseball all-star fiasco.

If it ends in a tie, we all cheer and go home. It would be great if it's 7-7.

    exactly.

ties are an accepted part of the game of soccer.

ties are NOT a part of the game of baseball.

also, the real deal with the MLB incident, IMHO, was that the league was able to just "take the ball and go home". That attitude and act on their part, more than the actual tie that resulted, is what pissed me, the baseball fan, off.

So if the MLS game ends in a tie it's not a big deal.

If Garber comes out there at the 95th minute of sudden death OT and grabs the ball and calls the rest of the game off then I'd be pissed.

The problem with the MLB all star game was once the player gets subed out, hes out for good. That's not the care for the MLS all start game. You can come in and out, if I am remebering correct.

Even worse, if it's 0-0, and on ESPN2 tomorrow

Considering the progress being made in today's game, the result could be nil-nil, and on at 0430 EDT, ESPN2, right after the World's Strongest Woman round of sixteen matchup.
