What Crew kits do you own?

I have the same as Bailey, but without the Farrell kit. I really want one of the Yellow and White vertical striped kits, but have yet to see one on EBAY.

 

Ehe... you should see how many Leeds shirts i have got over the years.... I don't even know off the top of my head how many there are (not too many though)

 

I got the bumblebee sleeves and then Columbus promptly retired them. I got the vertical stripes and then Columbus promptly retired them. Since I was sick of getting new tops, only to have them promptly retired, I held off getting the current yellow version until I picked up Martino's yellow at Obetz before the season started.

 

i had the black one from 1996, but now i can't find it, i'm probably just looking in all the wrong places.

I tried to buy a really cool long sleeve like the second picture, on ebay a few months back. It was a Jeff Cunningham game-worn. But when it went over $125, Mrs Fred had a fit so I caved. I'll always regret letting that one get away.

 

I have several hanging up on my walls at home and in the office. My only question is when will MLS market some game jerseys that target the bigger man (or huge women)??

P.S. They leave me with my only recourse to loose weight....

i only have two.

one was the black one weve had the past few seasons.

the other is a grey jeff cunningham shirt. its pretty rad. (thank god jeff gave it to me, i feel bad for the people who shell out $95 for them...)

 

I'm sort of curious about this... how are people getting jerseys from players? In the past, whenever I've overheard somebody asking for a jersey by the tunnel, the player has said that he wasn't allowed to. What's the scoop?

 

yeah, i'm interested in that as well. i was told by a player that they could only hand them out at the end of the season, or they'd have to pay massive fines.

this was said to me a few games after some la player gave his jersey to a fan.

perhaps some players are willing to pay the fine?

The Crew charity match at Obetz in the pre-season includes an auction. They have all the player jerseys, lots of shorts and other player gear. You can actually get some really good deals and all the money goes to charity.

I paid $75 for Bonseu's and $50 for Buddle's, cheaper than you buy a plain one, much less a game worn jersey.

if its true they can hand them out only at the end of the season, is that mean their last regular season game or at the end of the playoffs or what? What about last home game or last road game? I'm just wondering how I might have the chance to get my paws on a free jersey... cheap bastard that I am.

 

If they hold to what they've done in the past they will hand them out at the last home game of the regular season.
