The Sociology class is right after the Linguistics class in the same room.
At Hofstra undergraduate course numbers only go up to the 100s. At other colleges the numbers go much higher.

    History.

Actually, I should change my course list, as I switched my TAship for Winter quarter to Spring, when I wasn't guaranteed to have anything to cover fees. I was offered a readership next quarter in a hip hop class!

Dude!! It's great that more and more Uni's are offering courses on the hip-hop nation. As a lit person, I must complain that many, many o' critic should um... consult w/ a lit prof (or even an undergrad!!) in order to strengthen their arguments.

Seriously, far, far too many can't tell metaphoric language if it hit them w/ a 10 foot pole. That and the multi-disciplinary nature of the study of hip-hop leads to some hella chaotic "discussions" where ppl are talking about 6 different disciplines. Oh, and the fact that too many profs (me included) haven't a c-lue as to the drug culture.

    Maddening...

    But necessary!!
