Summer of 1970 I spent in Cambridge, working at a candy factory in Boston. Went to a bunch of shows at Harvard Stadium. Including Delaney and Bonnie in late July or early August I think. Was hoping to see Dave Mason and/or Joe South with them, but instead two people I knew almost nothing about, neither with long to live, were with them-- Duane and Gram Parsons. Only time I ever saw either. (Duane did "Stormy Monday" and Gram, "Do Right Woman" and then "God's Own Singer" as a lead-in to "Po' Elijah" IIRC.) And George Harrison was standing behind the amps, serving as guitar tech to replace broken strings. A function I also saw him serve later for the Rolling Thunder Revue, and then still later for the Grateful Dead.
