Miles Davis "Live in Berlin," the recent domestic release of what had long been a German import. More-or-less Wayne Shorter's debut with the second quintet.
I've only gotten through about a third of it so far but it's OK. A little hit and miss. The Beck interview was interesting and a piece about a guy buying obscure mics on eBay in hopes of creating a cool new sound was amusing. But there have also been some pieces I've skipped over after reading the first few paragraphs. A year's subscription is $45 which gets you eight issues (inlcuding the music issue which inlcudes a full CD of original material) and a book from Nick Hornby which is a collection of his essays from past issues. So, overall, it's not a bad deal.
