There was a moment during the 2001 match with Costa Rica where Jack Edwards asked, after someone had set off smoke bombs at Arrowhead asked, "Are we arriving? Well, Jack...the answer is yes. We question our coach...no matter who it is. We question his tactics...no matter what they are. We question his roster...no matter who gets called in. We think our federation is inept...no matter what they do. In other words, we behave like pretty much every other soccer fan base on the planet. Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen...we are officially a footballing nation!
