Whats the connection? They have four girls on the current roster from Canada, with three more coming next year. I looked to see if any of the coaches are Canadian and they are not, what gives?
You don't have to be from some where to recruit from there. More then likely they know some coaches there. Or even they may have recruited someone previuosly from there either for WVU or when they were at another college. Or as a player they played with someone from that area. There are a ton of ways to be able to recruit from an area. Also, when you get that first player, some times other follow even without trying. I help out with a NAIA team. A few years ago we had a player from a school in AZ, since then we got a few more players from that school because they were friends with the first player and they had a good experience.
