actually I chatted with Vergara in New York over the weekend and he seemed pretty excited about having Carlos Bocanegra and Cubo Torres on the team and is looking forward to the team showing some positive results. They are evaluating other additions.

Do you really believe with how powerful both these guys are in Mexico they have never met? Maybe they never talked about selling any team but I find it hard to believe they have never met
why do i feel that DC got Silva KNOWING that CUSA has already handed them 2 players (Townsend and Riley) for practically nothing. maybe they think/know we've been targeting Silva and so they think a trade w/ us could land them DK...or even CALVERT. yikes.
DC is shit at the moment. I would say worst then us. TFC sucks too. Anyone else noticed that Bocanegra will be #14 instead of #3. What gives?
I haven't noticed this, I've seen nothing about his number yet. Where did you see this? And I agree that DC is shit, and worse than the Goats, and TFC is and has always been worse. I love that all the haters love to dump all over Chivas, but I see TFC as a much bigger failure. They've never made the playoffs and are always at the bottom of the table. And the way they squandered their fanbase away is just criminal. Say what you will about the Goats, but with a little cash spent on adds and some positive results and the attendance problem will, to a certain amount, take of itself. We've seen it in the past.
