Away match vs The Bingo Bandits

This is the first match since the beginning of the season I have a solid chance of winning. TBB fields teams that are almost 8-10 points below mine, and my team should be able to exploit this for the win. Ergo, I'm playing normal.

As posted just now on the USA Conference.........

Ok, spare me the cries of 'well you're in 8th place' or 'the weather is overcast' because this is just absolute bs..........

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 17,083 at The Serengeti today

The last time I had a crowd this low was over 3 real world years ago, when I probably had a 20,000 stadium. My opponent lost in the cup this past Wednesday, so 40,000+ people stayed home?

    Again, absolute and pure bs........

(I guess for those in D5 or D6, imagine playing a match and only 1,500 people show up. My stadium holds 80,000)

Playing at fourth place team who has two wingers that are the best players in the conference. Somehow I am tied at 1-1 but have lost my starting keeper and blown two good chances. Worried those two blown chances are going to cost me big

That sucks, I out drew you this week. That is why I hate these smart supporters.

I'm up 2-0 on the team tied for first. I scouted him well though and my 3-4-3 seems to be working well at taking the attack to his CA defense.

45 minutes: The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 3. Wonderland, bringing the final ball possession rate to 71 percent, dominated the battle.

My supporters will not be happy. :(

At least I'm up 2-0 at the half, although losing on possession. This is a match I really need, too.

Having fun with the fight I started on the HT Forum, too.

I was reading that, it's getting really interesting there.

I'm up 3-1 now. He's had 1 CA chance, and that's it with his decent CA. I guess all my scouting paid off for me. :D

Let's see, lost 5-0, got a player sent off, another hurt, and my supporters are furious after being delirious two weeks ago.

PCFC pulls out the ultra close 2-1 win at home. Only 17,000 diehards witness the club leapfrog from 8th into 5th place (lost out on 4th on goal difference). 'Smart' fans would've seen the importance of the game, and shown up.

We move to 2-3 on the season as preparations begin for the cup match this Wednesday.

Won 1:3. Looking at the stats with 20/20 hindsight, I should have placed my wingers to attack on the right instead of the left:

    Them-
    Midfield: wretched (very low)
Right Side Defence: weak (very low)
    Central Defence: weak (high)
    Left Side Defence: weak (low)
Right Side Attack: poor (very low)
    Central Attack: poor (very low)
    Left Side Attack: poor (low)

    Us-
    Midfield: wretched (very high)
Right Side Defence: weak (very low)
    Central Defence: weak (high)
Left Side Defence: inadequate (very low)
    Right Side Attack: poor (high)
    Central Attack: poor (low)
Left Side Attack: poor (very high)

Either way, this places me in 6th, up from 8th, made the players happy, and hopefully has restored some faith from the Lucky 7's supporter club.

Yaawwwn, won 5-0 over some ******** team. The #1 team lost and now I'm the sole undefeated team in my series.

    Klaus had two, Thanks Deut!

Tied 2-2 - both of us had two players go down injured. Both of our best players picked up their third yellow - at least I got a PIC match next week.

I used, as the 2nd place team in my series put it, some "crafty coaching" to earn a 1-1 draw at home against the #1 team. Here were the stats for that, and yes, my one goal was from a CA:

    Norge Vikings
    Player rating and Team formation
    Team Attitude: Play it Cool
    Tactic: Counter-attacks
    Tactic skill: excellent

    Midfield: wretched (high)
Right Side Defence: passable (very high)
    Central Defence: passable (low)
Left Side Defence: excellent (very low)
Right Side Attack: poor (very high)
    Central Attack: poor (low)
Left Side Attack: wretched (very low)

    Scarlet Pups
    Player rating and Team formation
    Team Attitude: (Hidden)
    Tactic: Normal
    Tactic skill: (no tactic)

    Midfield: weak (low)
    Right Side Defence: passable (high)
    Central Defence: passable (low)
    Left Side Defence: passable (low)
Right Side Attack: inadequate (very high)
    Central Attack: weak (low)
Left Side Attack: passable (very high)

    The series now stands at:

    1. Scarlet Pups 5 23 - 2 13
    2. The Velvets 5 25 - 2 12
    3. Norge Vikings 5 12 - 6 10
    4. Lusitania F.C. 5 8 - 7 9
    5. Prutas 5 7 - 11 9
    6. Rock On 5 9 - 14 6
    7. Soro 5 1 - 20 0
    8. Kewaunee Kickers FC 5 1 - 24 0

Well, I won 4-0 but had a player get sent off after scoring on his debut.

Glad for the win because I am now 3-2 and after just upgrading my stadium I am hoping to draw a big crowd for my first match in the upgraded stadium.

went from 10k capacity to 25k capacity... the fans are now content after being irritated... thankfully next two matches are winnable at least one is PICable and I PIC'd this one so team spirit should go up and hopefully I can draw a really big crowd by the time my next (after the upcomming one) home match. :)

I took down the #1 in my league, PIC and still won (despite 2 of my players being taken off for injuries). I am still undefeated in the league, play the bunko team next week (another PIC) and am looking forward to my first game of the BS cup on wed!

Team Redbread off to celebrate with some brain food!

    Big UP!
