    WEEK 15 RESULTS

FK Partizani returned to the top ten, and outdistanced the competition to win week 15. Spiker2626 also made it for the second straight week. patfan1 and lilepp6 are this week's newcomers.

There were no really difficult games to predict this week, but at the same time it wasn't that easy either. You just had to know which games to predict a little more on.

Last Week's Attendances: (ranked by easiest to predict)

    1. MET-12,199
    2. CLB-12,539
    3. CHI-12,077
    4. DC-18,379

    OVERALL STANDINGS

dakotajoe and christhestud both moved up one spot, to 6th and 8th respectively. None of the other leaders had a good week. FK Partizani has impressively moved up to 13th in only two weeks time, while Spiker2626 and lufty are now in the top division.

We now have had 62 people make it to the top ten in 15 weeks, so there is now a fourth division. Hey, it's better than not making it all (sorry Kebzach).

    CHI-CLB
    MET-COL
    NE-DAL
    KC-RSL
    LA-CHV

The CHI game is a 3pm local start, as it's the espn2 game.

EDIT: And, it's also a doubleheader with Real Madrid/Guadalajara. I think I should mention that. :)

The NE game is a Gold Cup tripleheader, with two quarterfinal games. The USA and Costa Rica will both be playing there, as will the first place Group A team and (likely) the third place Group C team.

The LA game is their second home super clasico, and should sell out.

there's a "free ticket" promotion sort of thing gong on for the kc game. it's not being advertised (what is with kc?), but i'd suggest anywhere between 12-20k

You might want to change your chicago prediction. That is a part of the doubleheader with Real/Chivas

Everywhere and Nowhere.....I'm the wind, baby.
Well, I guess I'll just declare myself top of the table in Divison Five.

DC v San Jose - 15,000 (I just gotta tip my hat to DC fans/organization. Now that we are over that "Metros are the finest organization..." bs, how about take a look at what's been done in the nation's capital. There are a few GMs that need to take a field trip....)

Chicago v Columbus - 48,000 (Saw the short blurb on TV about the new Chicago stadium. It seemed ..... I don't know, hollow maybe, that Guppy was talking about how great it would be while Wilt was nowhere around. - Hey Guppy, just don't Nick it up.)

    New Jersey v Colorado - 12,500 (Whatever)

New England v Dallas - 35,000 (It would have been interesting to see what the numbers would have been w/o the triple-header.....then again, maybe not.)

Kansas City v Salt Lake - 12,500 (Thanks for the info, kcscsupporter. An unpromoted promotion.....)

Los Angeles v CD Chivas LA - 27,000 (Looking forward to a fun crowd)

    Saturday, July 16

    CHI-CLB 55k-huge doubleheader
MET-COL 10k-who wants to see the rapids?
    NE-DAL 25k-gold cup tripleheader
KC-RSL 8k-combo of no marketing and RSL equals bad attendance
    LA-CHV 27k-la derby

is their a promotion in KC next week? I noticed people are picking high numbers for them.

DC-SJ 15,800 Should be a decent crowd, but after the crap game against KC and the Friday night effect not as high as it could have been.

    Saturday, July 16

CHI-CLB 51,000 Huge double header. Of course how many will really come early or stay late for the actual Fire game is a good question. Perhaps 12k?
Why isn't there more enthusiam for the Fire this season???

    MET-COL 13,250
The mutts are steadily improving and I think the addition of Meola and Suarez are solid. But as someone has already pointed out, the Rapids are probably the most unattractive/uninteresting team in MLS

    NE-DAL 34,000
Good crowd for the triple header. It could be sigificantly more but NE has really botched its fanbase. Having said that the NE Dallas matchup is pretty attractive in its own right and should draw over 15k on its own.

    KC-RSL 12,100
Ugh. After watching the DC KC game at RFK last night I can understand why no one would watch KC. RSL is hardly a barnburner either. I only came up to over 10k because of the promotion.

    LA-CHV 27,000
The place should be rocking, especially with the big Chivas win over RSL giving their fans new hope to pull a surprise over an underperforming LA.

I was never worried about Murstein. That's not to say there aren't other possibilities, but I just think Murstein simply annoyed the hell out of Lamar.

DC-SJ 15,800 - the only team I consistently miss LOW for

    Saturday, July 16

CHI-CLB 42,833 - hopefully more ppl come to see (or at least tolerate) the Fire than did for the last big doubleheader.
MET-COL 12,000 - the Metros are getting progressively more Super
NE-DAL 30,223 - the US will be there... but does anyone who wouldn't be attending a Revs game anyway know what the Gold Cup is? Hopefully so...
KC-RSL 12,106 - I'm a KC fan and I've heard nothing about a promo, but hopefully word has spread around the KC metro area.
LA-CHV 27,000 - but the lower seats around midfield will still be empty :)
