    Love ya, CP, but your post seems to explain that KC is losing games because the other teams are scoring more goals than they do. A little obvi, maybe.

    Could it be the Cheney -ARod - Buczkowski-Robinson/Brown Vacuum Effect?

    Agreed totally. But, your question was, in essence, "Why are they losing?" Simply put, they're giving up a bunch of goals and aren't scoring very many (not withstanding the quality of some of their defenders). But also, for perhaps something related to an explanation, they are having difficulty scoring. They need a lot more fire power.

    KC couldn't score last year either. But they had a very good GAA. This year they aren't even maintaining that.

    Which I would confirm if NWSL site had a single goalkeeping stat... wtf?

    Edit: found it buried under the player info not under the main stats page.
    1 GA in 2016
    1.5 GA in 2017
    They've had 2 more goals scored against them this season (15 games) than all of 2016 (20 games)

    How about picking someone up on a trade or as a free agent? Based on the injury report it seems FCKC has the roster room.
