Thanks for the link on this -- where do you click through to hear this? All I can find in pre-match commentary?

Beg, borrow or steal, but if you can't see the goals from the first half tonight, find the highlight reel. Without being a spoiler (no clues given as to the score) remember valencia. very, very nice.

Ok, my take PSV's play was solid. Defense is playing high, as I said which left defenders over-matched a few times and Arsenal did have a few other chances by taking defenders. Otherwise, PSV was keeping their share of the ball, and pressuring about as much as Arsenal, except not getting much in the Arsenal penalty area.

On Arsenal's side, they were a bit asleep on the early goal. They then woke-up and started to have more possession. Mostly they were looking to play-in Henry or a few times others on through balls. This perhaps dictated by PSV's high defense.

It got a bit chippy at the end of the half. Seemed like Arsenal were getting confident and trying to intimidate PSV. PSV seemed to say "not in my house" and took it back at them. A stand-off really, advantage to neither side.

That's just how it felt to me. I'd say PSV deserved to jump on top, and Arsenal deserved to equalize. Then PSV seemed to absorb the Arsenal momentum so that it's not like Arsenal are charging back. Rather, as I said a standoff going into the second half.

    Second half set to go.

In the first half it was Henry and Farfan making the difference.

    No substitutes yet.

PSV opens with some good possession. But the cross is cleared and Arsenal will try next.

Vogel fouls Reyes getting called on the second one, and then Reyes reacts a bit. May get some intensity in this game.

    Then another foul by PSV.

Complaints by Lauren result in him getting a yellow card.

PSV are getting the ball into Arsenals end with possession but creating nothing of danger in the box.

Reyes with a nice run. Almost gets behind.

Then next time back. Reyes sends a blistering shot that Gomes has to knock down. ... to Ljungbergs feet, but he had no angle.

    Some danger but nothing.

Two fouls by PSV on Henry.

Free kick sent in by Pires.

Sol Campbell almost gets to it. Wanted a penalty, but no.

There was a shirt tug, so there was a claim on the penalty but I need to see it again.

Meanwhile, PSV have lots of the ball around Arsenal's area, but get nothing on or near goal.

    Goal kick.

would the coach play beas and farfan together ?

i would think Beas will see time towards the end if PSV needs a goal

I don't think Sibon is doing much. So it could be that Bease would represent a change of tactic to get more going into the Arsenal area.

    12'

    back and forth still.

Arsenal have possession around the PSV area, but looking for the opening.

Get the freekick 30 meters out.

sent in, but Sibon clears it out. PSV on the run

More likely that Vonlathen would come in for Sibon. I don't think that PSV would play with Farfan,Park and DMB upfront unless that it's near the end of a match.

Oh man, how glorious would it be if DaBeas could come on late, and contribute to (a) goal that could book PSV qualifying for next round by beating Arsenal? That would be humungous....but they gotta keep it tied first, and get DaBeas on the field second....

Arsenal take it away after some midfield battles.

    Then PSV come back.

MvB schools Cole. He's in on goal from the right, but can't put it in. Corner.

and again a fould called in the area on the offense

In the PSV games that I have physically seen on TV this year, DMB and Farfan have combined very well together. Their skills and abilities complement each other very well.

Wouldn't surprise me if DMB comes on at 75 minutes, if not sooner. And not necessarily as a direct sub for Farfan, either.
