As we have seen, the depth we have is not very good.

Now i'm not saying that all the u-23 players are better than what we have, but I do think that we can find AT LEAST one or 2 players that can contribute to the senior team. Gatt, Mixx, the German kids (brooks, kieswetter, etc) maybe even ruelas and others (bijev?, gyau, okugo) need to start playing more games together. Obviously we need a to have a coach first, so Klinsi needs to sort it out fast.

PS. I guess at least we didn't lose to a 10 man Brazil team where the refereeing was horribly in favor of the home team;)

I have a feeling that the U-23s will be playing the November friendlies in Europe. I strongly believe that France will be one of the friendlies.

I always wanted to see Okugo and Doyle play at the international level, sure they haven't had enough club minutes but in the U-20 Qualifying they were excellent. Gyau, Rowe, Gatt, Diskerud, Shea, Kitchen and MacMath, I honestly can't wait for the November friendlies.

    I can't believe Altidore is only 21.

It seems like Altidore has been around for ages and people think he's 26 and can't get better.

Also wanna see bijev because I think he will be able to contribute before 2014 and will be a key player and hopefully a star by 2018.

I bet you $326.24 dollars that it's a "Sunil Gulati" soon.

Anyone have an idea what the roster may be for our U23 squad?

Surprised that a name hasn't even been somewhat leaked/rumored about.

This is going to come from nowhere...

Some names that have already been mentioned - and most likely starters:

    Adu - CAM
    Shea - LW
    Chandler - RB
    Altidore - FW
    Agudelo - FW
    Hamid - GK
    Gatt - RW
    Diskerud - CAM
    Brooks - CB

Also curious as to who the three veterans will be.

Tab Ramos was one of the choices.

in all honesty, id be surprised if Jozy is called up... he's already getting full 90 with the seniors i'd be surprised if AZ would be happy about losing him to a U23 camp

Klinsmann mentioned this weekend, Altidore, Agudelo, Bunbury, Williams, Chandler and Hamid... interestingly he didn't mention Shea, but he should be there. Adu has said Klinsmann has also talked to him during the Mexico friendly about the Olympics.

No MLS call-ups until after the season is over, please.

that scratches off shea. shea has to be a constant from here on. when he reaches the point where he is cool and comfortable on the field, we'll have defenses worried.

I very much liked the way the U-20s played during qualifiers. Before we were punked by Guatemala
