    Well, I hate to say it but I think it probably was a penalty, not sure. Hits the ball at the same time as the foot really. Although Ronaldo should have pulled his foot out. What surprised me was the amount of space ronaldo gets. Especially for his second goal. Outrageous. I always wondered how well he'd play if he was given the Messi treatment every game. . .

    Bad day for La Liga teams so far in Europa League. Athletic lost to Werder at Bremen 3-1, Villareal lost to the european Red Bulls at at Salzburg 2-0.

    Let's hope Valencia can get a better result against Genoa at Mestalla.

    La Liga is bad this year. Valencia is decent, Sevilla looks to be a bit better but other than that it's pretty horrible (other than Barca and Madrid of course).

    Wow Zigic, Villa, and silva i think make a come back in italy! good goals (except the pk), the fire power they have is great, if they could only get that defense going...

    Sad for the people of Madrid, they really wanted this. But it's their own fault they lost. They should've never taken Raul to Copenhagen. When was the last time he achieved anything internationally? The IOC probably got one look at him and thought the whole city was past it's prime.

    At least his team got past the first knockout round this time;)

    Can't help but laugh everytime Ferguson goes off on the fourth official. He has those Premier League refs wrapped around his little finger. When he tells them to jump, they ask him, "How high?"
    Different story when United are in Europe. Fergie is usually tight lipped then. lol
