    Great song, especially the "Ch----ch-ch" part near the end. Didn't Jerry (not his real name) recently pass away?

    Apparently not. Mungo Jerry is Ray Dorset, and he seems to be alive. At least, if he died no one seems to have noticed. Must have been thinking of someone else.

    No cover of this song could recapture the washboard. Was that a washboard in that song?
