Well, we didn't have any thread about the latest WCQ-match so I will start this one now. Here's a list of the players who have been called up, this list is also in another thread but I'm going to post it here as well. Santiago Solari (Real Madrid) Maximiliano Rodríguez (Espanyol) Leonardo Franco (Atlético Madrid) Lionel Scaloni (Deportivo La Coruña) Gonzalo Rodríguez (Villarreal) Juan Román Riquelme (Villarreal) Gabriel Milito (Real Zaragoza) Luciano Galletti (Real Zaragoza) Hernán Crespo (Milan) Fabricio Coloccini (Milan) Esteban Cambiasso (Internazionale) Javier Zanetti (Internazionale) Facundo Quiroga (Wolfsburg) Diego Placente (Bayer Leverkusen) Andrés D´Alessandro (Wolfsburg) Javier Saviola (Monaco) Juan Pablo Sorín (Cruzeiro) Luciano Figueroa (Cruz Azul) César Delgado (Cruz Azul) Other players may be added to this list in the next few days. These "other players" are the domestic players, probably Abbondanzieri, Tevez, Mascherano and Lucho Gonzalez.
It would be nice if Pekerman didn't have to deal with all of the injuries... It has been too long since Aimar played with the national team, and Ayala's absence is always felt.
I think Veron is ready to come back to the NT since he is doing well in Italy. crespo is not doing good but still make it to the NT ??????????
Is there anyway to watch this game live on the internet??? Any argentinian channels? How about asian channels?
I dont know of any channels except for PPV. Don't worry though as they'll be showing it the following day on telemundo. Prediction...........(do we really need one?) Argentina 4 Venezuela 1(penalty...our defenders love giving those)
Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!! Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!! Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!! Don't be so confident, the Venezuelan coach had been stubborn for about 2 years with the same dumb ass players and for this game he actually picked the players that the fans think would do the best against Argentina The Coach is going to use the 2 fastest forwards that Venezuela has (Venezuela's weak point) The rest is a given (same all s..t)
Can anyone tell me if Alejandro Moreno(LA Galaxy,MLS) will be playing for Venezuela in this match? He's a talented player with lots of heart!
The venezuelan coach called him up a few times and I guess the coach don't like his style and hasn't called him up anymore. The venezuelan coach has called our 2 fastest forward because of Argentina's style. Ruberth Moran: Scored 2 goals vs Brasil and 2 vs Ecuador and the last 2 WCQ games. Christian Casseres: Doesn't have the best skills, but this son-of-a-bitch can run all game long without getting tired (it's amazing). He played for UAMaracaibo, the team that almost beat Velez in Buenos Aires in the 2003 CL.
Is Peckerman going to start Tevez this time? Should Tevez even start? I say no to the former and yes to the latter. Wacha guys think?
Dam for being a bostero your pretty smart VIP.LoL Yeah its about time this kid gets a chance I know hes had them before and he always played good.I will have this guy start over Kily Gonzalez anytime.
https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3579796#post3579796 kuwait tv....will have it, predictions on the above thread (good luck)
Here's the full squad (no Tevez!): Goalkeepers: Roberto Abbondanzieri (Boca Juniors), Leonardo Franco (Atletico Madrid) Defenders: Gonzalo Rodriguez (Villarreal), Gabriel Milito (Real Zaragoza), Fabricio Coloccini (AC Milan), Diego Placente (Bayer Leverkusen) Midfielders: Javier Zanetti (Inter Milan), Esteban Cambiasso (Inter Milan), Juan Pablo Sorin (Cruzeiro), Lionel Scaloni (Deportivo Coruna), Maximiliano Rodriguez (Espanyol), Andres D'Alessandro (Wolfsburg) Juan Roman Riquelme (Villarreal), Luis Gonzalez (River Plate), Javier Mascherano (River Plate) Forwards: Javier Saviola (Monaco), Luciano Figueroa (Cruz Azul/Cementeros), Luciano Galletti (Real Zaragoza), Cesar Delgado (Cruz Azul/Cementeros), Santiago Solari (Real Madrid)
I know he is coming back from a few injuries, but Aimar should be on the team. Why was Tevez dropped? I've seen comments re: poor form of late, attitude, etc.
I'm So Glad Solari Is Back Cause He's A Great Player. I Think We Should Win But I'm Not Undermining The Venezuelans. Vamos Argentina! Why Not Give Palermo Another Chance.... You Never Know???????
argentina doesnt have it as easy as they think. their playing a different venezuela than they played 4 years ago or 8.
Let's watch out for Valenilla and Juan Arango during the game broadcast, specially for Valenilla since he came to our league not that long ago.....
Sorry to bust your bubble, he played in my team CaracasFC and we were HAPPY AS F..K when we heard that he was leaving the team.
