Well, we didn't have any thread about the latest WCQ-match :( so I will start this one now. Here's a list of the players who have been called up, this list is also in another thread but I'm going to post it here as well. ;)

    Santiago Solari (Real Madrid)

    Maximiliano Rodríguez (Espanyol)

    Leonardo Franco (Atlético Madrid)

    Lionel Scaloni (Deportivo La Coruña)

    Gonzalo Rodríguez (Villarreal)

    Juan Román Riquelme (Villarreal)

    Gabriel Milito (Real Zaragoza)

    Luciano Galletti (Real Zaragoza)

    Hernán Crespo (Milan)

    Fabricio Coloccini (Milan)

    Esteban Cambiasso (Internazionale)

    Javier Zanetti (Internazionale)

    Facundo Quiroga (Wolfsburg)

    Diego Placente (Bayer Leverkusen)

    Andrés D´Alessandro (Wolfsburg)

    Javier Saviola (Monaco)

    Juan Pablo Sorín (Cruzeiro)

    Luciano Figueroa (Cruz Azul)

    César Delgado (Cruz Azul)

Other players may be added to this list in the next few days. These "other players" are the domestic players, probably Abbondanzieri, Tevez, Mascherano and Lucho Gonzalez.

It would be nice if Pekerman didn't have to deal with all of the injuries...

It has been too long since Aimar played with the national team, and Ayala's absence is always felt.

Props to Pekerman for calling Solari this time. IMO ... it was a default call.

I dont know of any channels except for PPV. Don't worry though as they'll be showing it the following day on telemundo.

    Prediction...........(do we really need one?)

Argentina 4 Venezuela 1(penalty...our defenders love giving those)

    Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!!
    Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!!
    Venezuela CHA CHA CHA!!!

Don't be so confident, the Venezuelan coach had been stubborn for about 2 years with the same dumb ass players and for this game he actually picked the players that the fans think would do the best against Argentina :)

The Coach is going to use the 2 fastest forwards that Venezuela has (Venezuela's weak point)
The rest is a given (same all s..t)

The venezuelan coach called him up a few times and I guess the coach don't like his style and hasn't called him up anymore.

The venezuelan coach has called our 2 fastest forward because of Argentina's style.
Ruberth Moran: Scored 2 goals vs Brasil and 2 vs Ecuador and the last 2 WCQ games.
Christian Casseres: Doesn't have the best skills, but this son-of-a-bitch can run all game long without getting tired (it's amazing). He played for UAMaracaibo, the team that almost beat Velez in Buenos Aires in the 2003 CL.

I know he is coming back from a few injuries, but Aimar should be on the team.

Why was Tevez dropped? I've seen comments re: poor form of late, attitude, etc.
