I will not have access to a computer for this game so am planning on leaving the thread prefix as is for the match and post match commentary. Spain need at least a tie to move into the KO stage. Aupa Espanha y La Furia Roja!

To be honest I feel one match thread for all games is the best option rather than seperate pre/pbp/post match threads. More convenient when posting and less clutter throughout the forum. Activity in this forum isn't that high anyway. Sometimes less can be better in more ways than one. :)

    Pichi repped this.

There will definitely be scoreboard watching but the team need to just focus on the task at hand, which is achieving the three points.
A draw will be enough to advance out of the group but winning the group does appear (at the moment) to have its advantages.
The group winner's road to lifting the Cup, from Round of 16 to the final, would be Luzhniki - Sochi - Luzhniki - Luzhniki.

Isco needs to fine tune his through pass, that's the 2nd one that doesn't end up right

I felt Pique was lucky not to be shown red on that two-footed tackle on Boutaib.

Costa should have passed to Isco, Iniesta wastes a shot

That was great stuff: Isco to Silva to Iniesta to Isco. We need more of that.

It's so weird to see a bad pass from Iniesta. It happens often these days though

Think it's time for Aspas instead of Costa, I'm worried Rodrigo has become the 2nd striker with Hierro though
