Croacia fue un equipo competitivo en el 2014 y en papel y en lo futbolístico es el par o hasta más que México. Un buen planteamiento Mexicano más el punto en Fortaleza le dio una muy buena ventaja a México antes de jugar el partido decisivo contra ellos. Tipos como Peresic, Lovren, Rebic, Vrasljko ya militaban en ligas importantes y jugadores como Rakitic, Modric y Manzukic ni se diga. Croacia había goleado a Camerún antes de jugar México y le habian hecho un juego competitivo a Brasil. No estoy diciendo que Suecia va ser un flan pero es una mamada decir que este equipo sueco es más que el croata del 2014.

I can't see Sweden playing any other way other than their typical 4-4-2 defense, even if they need to look for a result. They'll look to counter and take advantage on set pieces. I think our best plan is to keep possession and let the time run out. I'm not saying to not look to score (i want Mexico on top with 9 points) but the longer we keep the ball and timing our attacks, the Swedes will start to get frustrated and look to be more aggressive. And then boom, we counter their asses as soon as they turn the ball over while attempting to be more aggressive.
Don't know if we saw the same games regarding Sweden, but I saw those dudes hustle back hard on defense. They won't be as open as Germany from the beginning. If the score is still tied at around the 70-75', then I'd expect them to open up and vulnerable for a counter. We can't counter them from the beginning though, especially a defensive team as them.

¿Lo son en realidad? Me eché ambos partidos de Suecia. Contra Corea apenas y crearon oportunidades. Luego tuvieron un buen primer tiempo con Alemania y de ahí en más se dejaron camisetear. Además, el hecho de que se replegaran tanto con un hombre de más tanto tiempo no me causa ningún temor. Si bien es el tipo de rival que a México se le puede atragantar, no me parece que hay mucho problema considerando que ellos son los que están forzados a buscar el resultado. Por supuesto, un gol tempranero puede cambiar la estrategia, pero eso aplica para cualquier equipo. Ahora, ¿la Croacia del 2014? A mí me pareció que aquella Croacia se vio disminuida a causa del árbitro en el juego contra Brasil, sin mencionar que se habían mostrado dominantes y efectivos en la goleada contra Camerún. Se trataba de un equipo talentoso que tenía jugadores en el Inter, el Bayern y el Real Madrid. Lindelöf es quizás el jugador de mayor relieve que Suecia tiene en esta ocasión. México tiene, tanto en composición de plantilla como desarrollo de juego, muchas mejores armas con las cuales presentarse el Miércoles.

@PARS de nada sirve decir que México va a golear 10 a 0 o perder 9 a 0, eso no afecta en nada lo que vaya a pasar en la cancha. Dejen de pensar que dar un análisis donde se habla de la dificultad del partido o los defectos de nuestro equipo es ser pesimista. Todos queremos que México gane, sin embargo todo puede pasar en el fútbol. A ver, esa Croacia tenía muy poco con Kovac al mando, por individualidades era mejor pero no como equipo. Kovac tenía como 9 meses de trabajo antes de llegar al mundial. Después del mundial lo corrieron porque se estaban quedando fuera de la Euro. Suecia tiene 2 años con Andersson, elimino a Italia y Holanda, y de no ser por el árbitro, le pudo ganar a Alemania. Está Alemania es mejor que el Brasil del 2014. Además por el estilo defensivo y físico de Suecia nos pueden complicar más. Croacia necesitaba ganar y te deja jugar, estos meten un gol y a ver cómo le metes gol.
No te vayas por los nombres, vete por el funcionamiento de los equipos. Croacia del 2014 no era lo que es ahora, tenían 9 meses bajo el mando de Kovav, después del mundial lo corrieron porque estaban quedando fuera de la Euro. En el fútbol no importa cuánto domines sino sacar los resultados, Camerún del 2014 era hasta peor que está Corea. De ser por dominio México le tuvo que ganar 4-1 a Corea y sin embargo apenas fue un 2-1 algo apretado al final. Suecia es un rival molesto y muy complicado, defensivo, canchero y contundente. Será un juego duro. Repito, el que meta gol primero va a ganar.
De ninguna forma Osorio va a banquear a Herrera o a Moreno. Este equipo depende muchísimo de Herrera, es el jugador más importante. Y Moreno es el líder atrás, si llegamos a pasar y le sacan amarilla a uno de ellos, o a los dos, sufriremos.
