Its funny how Vela got so much shit because he's in MLS; but he's been our best player these last two games. Tecatito and Rafa looked like hot garbage. Gio looks match fit and was at least trying to help defensively unlike Tecatito who was m.i.a and Rafa with his brain farts. Ochoa, Gallardo, Guardado, Herrera, and Lozano have been excellent both these last two games. Chicharito and Salcedo are both improving and are more than justifying starting. Layun has been quite good but his finishing has been garbage. Moreno needs to improve but is not a liability.
"Do you love soccer?" "I love soccer." "Or is soccer, just a game for you? It's.... it's just your job." "You know soccer is more than a game for me." "Well, it's not for Carlos Alberto Vela Garrido. He works in soccer. He makes his living thanks to soccer, but he loves basketball, he's SOOOOOOOOOO happy since he moved to the United States. One of the key players for the new franchise of the MMLS, LAFC. Now, he is licking his lips. He is breathing soooo deep. He is going into send mode, I hear a whistle, here comes the BOMBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, BY MEXICO! KABOOM FROM THE BOMBARDERO! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, SCORED BY VELA!"
Osorio still doesn't know how to make the subs sadly, nowadays that seems to be his only negative as a coach. Also not a fan of the defensive line move, I think the ones that played against Germany should've started together again, this defense looked slow as ******** and Chucky had to bail them several times.
Gracias Osorio. Gracias LAFC We are finally witnessing the Vela for Mexico we always dreamed of. EVERYONE SHOUT OUT CARLOS VELA
Playing Rafa is a huge gamble I don't know why he insists on subbing him in. He could of cost us a goal with his mistake. He is supposed to bring compusure to the team not anxiety.
I didn't like the subs either, but I think this is part of the Osorio strategy. Think about it, first he trolls us all the way through qualifying to earn the nickname "Juan Cambios Osorio." Then for the last two games, here comes "Juan Carlos Osólido" (yeah, I'm going to get copyrights on the name). Now he's trolling with the subs. You watch. When it counts, when it really matters, the subs will be the correct ones (cf. the game against Germany, minus the Rafa sub). Troll on Osorio! Troll on and take us to the promised land!
eh, he was subbed with only 15-20 minutes left on the opposite wing he is used to play and was always marked by two koreans, maybe if he was subbed in for Layun instead of Chucky he'd have looked different.
They def hooked up after the game. BTW saw this dude's special. Don't think he's funny at all but that's just me.
I don't recall any Chicharito-tier touch, only three or four failed fintas where he just crashed against two koreans which isn't that bad even Chucky struggled on that wing. Now I can agree on him don't being as helpful defensively as Chucky, if that was because Osorio ordered him to stay up or he was out of it I can't know.
