Update: Rooney's jersey is the most popular player replica jersey in the Premier League through the last 20 seasons, reports the Premier League. Analysis: Rooney beat out Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Cristiano Ronaldo and Frank Lampard. Fan demand for replica shirts has also expanded in the recent past, but Rooney's is the most sought after. 30 Apr 2012 02:31 AM
Wow...!!! I so want to have Wayne Rooney's shirt because then I could put it on and walk around town and people would say "There goes that there Wayne Rooney". Of course, they would know it wasn't me really because even I'm not that ugly, but I could pretend I was Wayne Rooney and that would be, like, incredible. I would spend any amount to have a real, genuine Wayne Rooney replica shirt. I'd sell my grandchildren to white slavers just to own one. I used to want a Stephen Gerrard shirt, but Liverpool don't win things anymore (well, they won the fizzy drinks cup, but that's not important enough for Wayne to play in those matches, so it doesn't count) so Wayne's my man now, although I suppose a Sergio Aguero shirt might be good for next season but that depends on whether it looks like City will win something again or whether they are just a flash in the pan. I wouldn't want to buy the shirt of somebody who is in a team that doesn't win big, shiny trophies all the time. I want to have Wayne Rooney's babies. .
Rooney's performance is always great in the Premier League. No doubt he is the top favorite of most of the people.
Rooney will be Utd's top scorer and in the top three for the prem this season. Probably beating by RVP and an other.
Yeah, I also own one. A brilliant player, even though his performances in EURO 2012 weren't that stellar.
A jersey is one thing, just don't go "full kit wanker": http://richardp1975.wordpress.com/2012/08/24/full-kit-wankers/
Has there ever been a more hyped up over rated player? And his condition is that of a 40 year old pub player. Turns up to international tournaments at least a stone over weight and couldn't trap a bag of cement. Exposed time and time again at the top but the English media like to keep reminding us he is world class when he scores past the Wigans of the league lol...A good player but thats it and no he is not even close to being world class, a phrase that is today so often over used.
Yup, spot on. The keyword is USED TO. Nowadays, his loyalty is no longer with Manchester. It is unfortunate as Wayne Rooney still have so much to offer to the club.
Ever since he left the Bitters, his loyalty has always been to the Almighty Dollar, Manchester happened to be the club signing his healthy checks. I don't think he gives a damn about that club any more, it's about Wayne and specifically ensuring his oversized wallet remain as proportionally rotund as the rest of him.
