The other thread has gotten cluttered with confusion....so let's start a new one that's out in the open. Lyell the owner of the Amsterdam has told me he'll check to make sure he can show it on TV, he has the channel. I'll get there @ 8:45pm. Let's do this! (PS If I can get an accurate number, I might be able to get a couple tables reserved.)
um, I was going to post a new thread for this watch party this afternoon. I'm just waiting on some details from Jamie. Plus, I'm going to post it starting at 7pm in case some people can't stay for the whole game. Man, someone's impatient! LOL!

Can't; not only schoolwork, but I can't even get into Amsterdam until 4/6/2011 at 4:10pm. If we ever have a watch party at Barrister's, though, I'll be there.
Not to speak for the crowd, but don't you think that getting a "viewing party" may be a little more successful for a Saturday game (this is assuming Thursday is being chosen over Saturday)? I'll be out of town on business until Friday, but would definitely try to get to Amsterdam for the Saturday match.
of course it would if they were playing on Saturday, but since they are playing on a Thursday...why not?
...because they are playing on Saturday @ Vancouver. EDIT: And I just was trying to figure out if they'll be doing this Saturday, as well. Obviously not trying to get Thursday's view canceled.
I see what you are saying. I actually forgot all about Saturday. I think it was just a selfish idea I had because I have plans on Saturday and have been wanting to do this for some time. I told Jamie about it and he said I should organize it. Hell, I say we do it every away game anyway, if possible.
Have to make the most of the road trips. Should cut down on travel costs a little bit so they don't have to make two flights to the Pac. NW. Especially as they even have healthy players not traveling, I imagine this was some "strategic scheduling". Pinching pennies.
