Reality hitting hard for Ten Hag. United just embarrassing today. As I’ve stated before he has no chance whatsoever to succeed with this underachieving, piss poor lot. Club is poorly run and has done a terrible job in the transfer market not allowing the Manager to gut the rot of this pathetic squad. Does not say much for Donny Van De Beek that he cannot get more playing time under his former Manager. Only 2 matches in but they’re so weak. No way can Frenkie want to go there.
Also Ten Hag seemed a little perturbed with the reporter who interviewed him after the match I saw. Ten Hag’s English is not the best so he better be careful with what he says and how he says it. Former Ajax man Lisandro Martinez was subbed off at the half after getting beat in the air with a rather feeble and clumsy attempt off a headed ball across the goal. Timber must be very happy that he made right choice not to jump there, or is LVG to get credit for “making” the decision for him. Lol
Martinez was not at fault. As I said in the United fan threads I think E10H best bet it's to make changes and go with the team that will win regardless of the player's name and salary so a guy like Shaw and Maguire have to sit and maybe Ronaldo but if he's there to win then he's got to put that above feelings and the locker room blowing up and whatever. And if there are issues he'll just tell management I'm trying to win games you guys have given me nothing to work with.
Martinez was really feeble looking on the 3rd goal yesterday. Nonsensical and arrogant English press killing Martinez calling him small and weak that it’s not Ajax or Eredivisie. I hate that ridiculously ignorant narrative. Ten Hag in for a rough ride here, too and apparently said he would have subbed everyone off at half if he could. De Gea was pitiful yesterday. The Goon Maguire is a very weak player and Captain. Entire CR7 drama is bad for whole club, but he’s they’re only attacker. Rashford and Sancho look very poor. Eriksen in the deep midfield role looking quite bad too I hate to say it as I love him, and rate him highly on top of his incredible recovery from death quite literally.
With 52.63%, Xavi has the worst win percentage from a Barcelona manager in the last 20 years. Worse than Koeman (58.21%), Setién (64.00%), and Valverde (66.90%).— @LaLigaenDirecto pic.twitter.com/P8TRTbVAQZ— Barça Universal (@BarcaUniversal) August 13, 2022 I love to see this, after all those agendas and poor treatment of Koeman
Well, I hope he stays to secure relegation Sorry, Deadtiger. Anyway, the criticism is targeted towards the owners, who lured ten Hag under false pretences to Manunited.
Early days to be fair but Xavi I don’t believe to be a very good Manager. This current Barca team is filled with holes amongst their overrated youngsters with a few old guys (Busquets & Pique) who cannot run and unconvincing overhyped flank players, and a crap defense. There has to be questions about the tremendous Lewandowski to be fair because he is 34 years old. Barca with lots of useless possession and not playing at a fast tempo looked quite ordinary yesterday. Hope it continues. More then a club my ass.
Sarina Wiegman: England manager wins Uefa women's coach of the year award following Euros success BBC|17 minutes ago England boss Sarina Wiegman wins Uefa women's coach of the year award after leading Lionesses to victory at the women's Championships this summer.
As it's done by the coaches this belongs here: https://www.ad.nl/nederlands-voetba...-sneller-dan-feyenoorders-en-psvers~a373d50b/ The most glaring example was Rench, selected while only Young Ajax player and bencher at the 1st team.
Where there's smoke there's fire. They can give 5 different reasons why Rensch is selected and there is no justification whatsoever, just BS. It is what it is.
Louis Van Gaal needs one win to become the winningest coach in Oranje history. He has now 36 wins. The top place is Dick Advocaat with 37 wins. Let's hope that Van Gaal will now go on a 7-winning streak in Qatar to claim the elusive prize Incoming head coach Ronald Koeman had 11 wins leading Oranje, currently just outside the top 10. Marco van Basten had 35 wins back in the days... wow didn't realize he was that prolific https://voetbalstats.nl/cowingelverlnedxi.php
EDIT -- A couple articles I read, including one from ESPN, stated that LVG already had 37 wins... tied up with Dick on top.
Sportredactie 29-09-22, 11:28 Laatste update: 29-09-22, 12:11 I've suggested it in the English national team thread some time ago
I suggested it to the Dutch team a couple of years ago when Koeman left. It was a missed opportunity.
Now that'd be a breakthrough idea. wiegman definitely earned it with 2 Euro titles. I will support her to be the next coach after Koeman, probably competing with ten Hag at that time.
