watched Club Brugge pre season friendly with Utrecht. must say Bjorn Meijer looked good. Marcus Alonso (Chelsea) esque player. defensively didnt had much to do so still to early to say anything. some body to look out for though . lang scored the opener in 4-2 win.

Is Lang still at Brugge? I thought he had left considering his comments, lol.

De Ligt to Bayern on a 70MM plus 10 add on. I think it’s a great transfer for him. Bayern has a better team and winning mentality than Juventus. Maybe he can develop more there.

Great transfer indeed. Looks like he's going to be the second most expensive signing in club history... behind only to his presumably CB partner, Lucas Hernandez. Bayern also has another French international Dayot Upamecano in the CB rank. It will be a tough competition for De Ligt, hopefully it pushes him to get better! Good things is that Bayern plays a ton of games, between the domestic and CL competitions.... so it should be plenty of minutes to go around!

I'm concerned about ten hag and how he is pulling the strings currently. Hope he makes a quick start of the blocks. His signings though will be decsive in where he ends up.

Veltman had a good game against United.
Could be an important backup to Dumfries

Didn't he play in the back three? He's really too slow these days to play FB.

Need a high-charging, attack-minded wing back to back up Dumfries… one with speed and can deliver decent crosses.

Veltman does not fit that profile unfortunately. I think Timber is the back up in Oranje right now for necessity. Hateboer needs to go, I am never impress with him.

Frimpong could be a dark horse. He was doing so well before the season-ending injury (even called to provisional squad at one point). He did return to the pitch this weekend, though from a couple sites I follow, his match rating was meh. Hopefully it was just rust, and he will pick up where he left off. Also intrigued by Geertruida (scored nice goal today)… I think he is close to graduate from JO.

Saddened karsdorp's name hasnt being mentioned. He has been giving a consistent performance at Roma and also was one the best RBs in serie A last season.

Again this is symbolic given his performance for NT over the years and still being considered as option.

Sepp has been with Liverpool since 2019, but has never been able to clock a single minute in the first team. Keeps getting loaned out (to lower division). In fact he’s on his way to yet another loan spell at Blackburn this season, but reportedly this was delayed due to Liverpool’s injury crisis. I feel bad for this kid, he probably would have been farther along had he stayed in Eredivisie!!

According to Wikipedia, Sepp van den Berg already has 22 Eredivisie appearances and 61 England Championship appearances. That seems like a lot for someone who turns 21 in December. Center backs take longer to develop. I'd say he's doing just fine.

This is old story. He did feature for JO a while back then wasn't called up.

Obispo is making long stride in mean time.

Obispo still makes too many mental mistakes and needs to correct that part of his game if he is to be NT material.

Struijk and Leeds just beat Chelsea 3-0.
I admit I've only seen him play 1 match, but is he not an option at LB??
