Any one has any idea why countries from the arab peninsula don't attend the WAFF (west asian football federation) cup? The only time we here about it in the local news when some one wins the cup. Other than that there is almost ZERO coverage. Any one cares to tell us how the WAFF came to be ,and when+why it started?
The WAFF is a championship designed to include those countries with no regional tournament for example the Gulf cup and EAFF. This year the champion of the WAFF will meet the champion of the EAFF and there is talk of having the first two teams of the Gulf cup play the two top teams of WAFF.
