This is the Official Very Small Rocks transfer thread for 2020-21. The transfer market opens 24 hours after the last pick of the draft. Everyone knows the drill. If making a transfer, please post: Your team name (optional since we know who we all are) OUT: Player name (team, position, price is optional, unless necessary to identify player) IN: Player name - Position - Team - Price The time stamp on bigsoccer determines who gets a player first. If you are first and get the player, then (a) update your squad on the "current rosters" sheet and input the trade on the "transfers" sheet in the GDoc or (b) post if you will not be able to get to the GDoc for a while, in which case someone will cover it for you. Please be careful in the GDoc to spell names correctly, as word searches are an easy final last double check to see if a player is available. This thread is for transfers. Discussion should be kept to a minimum on this thread, and can proceed in the discussion and banter thread that will remain open. Last reminder -- Please do not edit any posts in this thread. If you need to correct something, add a second post. If you try for a player but are too late, leave it up and tip your cap to whomever pipped you.

I would say it goes as follows, re. the conflicts: I get Havertz CRIBMAD gets Thiago Silva Epikoinos gets van de Beek
It is the same situation as Epikoinis and van de Beek. I have an interest in the outcome, and will defer to others, but the general rule is that if part of a group trade is invalid, the entire trade is invalid.
I'm just covering my bases here with Rodrigo ... Clarity on that rule would help, though, as there are more transfers to come ...
To me it depends how you define "invalid". If "invalid" means the trade can't happen because of cost or putting too many players from one club on a team, then yes, the whole thing is invalid. But if it's invalid because a different part of trade was beaten by milliseconds (when it's virtually impossible to tell whether you've been beaten until after you post), then I don't think that should invalidate whether you got first dibs to a given player.
History of this site/league is that if any part of the post is invalid then whole post/transfer is invalid
In my mind, if you post them all in a group, then it's all or nothing. And, it needs to be, as otherwise how do we know which parts count and which parts don't. In my case, for example, my group trade failed because you get their milliseconds before me. (Congrats, by the way!) So, my trade failed, and Lloris is still on my team and that's how I want it -- I would have cut him to get Havertz, but I still want him. If you're willing to do the trades separately, then they should be identified as separate trades -- even if they are in the same post. But, yes, it has presumably happened before, and, if not, it will be good to hear from the "elders" in other divisions, whom we know are just sitting by and laughing at us right now.... Under my read of it, Havertz to FC St Pauli, Silva to Morning Glory, and van de Beek to me. Waiting for kopite, lobo, hal, tarv, and others to chime in......
