Here are the first 4 transfers now that the season has started.

There was one correction to the post-draft pre-season squad adjustments. Somehow IOTP's dropping of Clichy to acquire Richards was not included. This has been corrected, bringing the total of Pre-Season, Post-Draft squad adjustments to 21.

    22 Aviators Gamst-Pedersen Arteta M EVE 8.0 2
23 FC St. Pauli Barton Larsson M SUN 6.5 2
    24 Mariners Faurlin Colback M SUN 5.0 2
    25 Park Lane Gervinho Klasnic F BOL 6.0 2

I don't know why web developers try and fix what isn't broken and subsequently break something else instead.

Score updates are a feature I'm really missing.

FC St. Pauli - Scott King 25pts
    FC Touchline Ban - E Sullivan 24pts (Cahill 11)
Pork Soda - Richard Powell 21pts (10pts on the bench)
ThiKu Mariners FC - Kurt Thiessen 19pts (Gabbidon -2 to sub in)
Pittsadelphia FC - Eddie Batcho 16pts
    Aviators - Hal Jones 13pts
Park Lane - Harry Hotspur 10pts (Gervinho -2)
In off the post - Clan Blue 9pts

Sadly, had to click on every manager AND THEN the gameweek to get the scores.

    :(

Gabbidon may or may not be an auto-sub. Evra can still play.

Still another 3 GW 1-2 transfers

Looks like Michel is preparing to use his Wild Card with three more transfers, upping the week's total to 4 and building a 7.5 million bank reserve for more action. Although he may be setting aside the funds to get Schneider or Mata or some other rumored potential new signing.

    28 Park Lane Rafael Gibbs D ARS 5.5 2
    29 Park Lane Sagna Boswinga D CHE 5.5 2
    30 Park Lane Malouda Ramires M CHE 7.0 2

Looking in on the team, the prospects for .1 drops and the schedule going forward, and...zzzzz... nothing to keep me awake. No moves to make even now. Only a few players are at risk of losing tenths in the next 24 hours from what I can see, and I don't own any of them. I only post this to make sure that people know I'm still alive. I don't want to catch Mad Transferitis too early this season.

Congrats to Epikoinos for drafting the guy I always tend to draft and then drop, Gary Cahill. Oh and how great did Ashley Young look? Good luck getting any minutes until the Champion's League rotations, Valencia.

This lack of live updates stinks. With a match tomorrow, it won't be until well into Tues afternoon my time before we get Bone-eyes. It's going to be hard to get used to.

I also need Silva to perform very well for City ... 26 pts is merely "respectable" but in reality is only "relegation avoidance" stuff....

Looks like you got what you wanted.

    Stellar performance.

By my reckoning, I broke the 60 point mark in opening week, best I've ever done....and that with Modric and Cahill not playing.Long may it continue :)

    FPL message

wondering if you guys saw this: http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2421213,00.html

    The key part is

    "1. Receive unlimited transfers
No points will be deducted for any transfers you make up to the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). If you have already made transfers and had points deducted, these will be restored to your overall total by midnight on Tuesday 16th August 2011. If you have already opted to play your wildcard, this too will be restored at the same time."

So, everyone who's used a wild card (e.g., Harry Hotspur) or had a penalty (e.g., Hal) is in the clear, and the rest of us can go transfer crazy...

But according to the above apparently NOT a -4. ?? Cool. Never wanted Gabbidon anyway.

Whoah I'm guessing you mean R. Taylor since he's 4.0? I posted for S. Taylor (4.5) in the official forum. That was close...

haha, ya, I double checked to make sure it was R and not S. But yes, I only had 4 to beginwith so I can't afford S.

I hated you dropping Jarvis also! So I'll comfort the lad and give him a home...

Like a Stark in 'Game of Thrones,' I'm a huge lover of the wolves. May these wolves not be dire. :D

    OUT:
    De Vries GK WOL 4.0
    Albrighton M AVL 6.5

    IN:
    Hennessey GK WOL 4.5
    Jarvis M WOL 6.0

    Bank:
    1.0

The FPL site won't show me a 'Forum' tab where I can post these officially. This is bad, very bad, or else I'm dumb, very dumb, in making my first move of the season. Can I call on the honor code and ask that this transfer be respected until and when I can sort this out? I've tried two browsers now, Chrome and Safari, no Forum tab. This is just a bizarre year for ye olde FPL site.

EDIT: I see the forum. To quote Lobo...
if you click on "Leagues" then click on the little blue ballooniny thingy to the right of the "red X box" at the end of the Small rocks boxes* it lets you into the forum

But this raises a big point. I just grabbed Jarvis because his transfer was shown here. I think Bettermirror wasn't finding the forum either, because his transfer isn't there. I think this is extenuating circumstances, the one day (or few days) when Big Soccer takes precedence over a clearly whacked-out-on-crack FPL coding team.

I will go post in the forum now. I didn't see that you get to the forum through the bubble. Previously it had been right there when you select the VSR league at the top of the league standings table.

I might be poaching leavings (again, where's Michel when I need him for a Nasri to save me like last season??). But you got Tevez, curses. I've been waiting just a bit too long to see where he goes. But it was still way too soon for me. Only yesterday he was going to Arsenal in trade for Nasri, tomorrow he'll be going to Al Ettihad to suit up and perform juggle-tricks for the children of Shake Man Sewer in return for all the dates in the entire Middle East.

Haha, ya. I made the selection based on an ESPNSoccernet article today....Either way if Nasri to City and Tevez to Arsenal it's still a good pick-up. The only real way it hurts me is if he gets hurt or goes to play out of England....

Or asks for a vacation over the winter in Bora Bora because he misses the missus.

    ps-I ain't dropping Nasri!
