I heard about the interest of Sevilla and Villarreal. He´s a quality player, first I thought he was just overhyped because of the game against Sporting, but it looks like I was wrong.
Setubal is in fine form at the moment, but for them staying in the SuperLiga is good enough. Anything else is gravy. Really, they are in 1st at the moment but they won't be there for long. Other teams have the depth needed to maintain a lofty position, and if a team like Boavista or Guimaraes puts up an offer for Jorginho, Setubal will bite, especially if they feel they are safe to be in the SuperLiga for 2005/06 by January.
Look at the leading Goal Scorer list: ( 3 players with 3 or more goals). http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news;_y...ug=reu-portugalscorers&prov=reuters&type=lgns Portuguese Premier League leading scorers LISBON, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Leading scorers in the Portuguese Premier League after Saturday's matches: 5 - Liedson (Sporting) 4 - Wesley Silva (Penafiel), Antchouet Arnaud (Belenenses) Joao Tomas (Braga), Wender (Braga), Jorginho (Vitoria Setubal) 3 - Manoel Filho (Moreirense), Simao Sabrosa (Benfica), Ousmane N'Doye (Estoril), Joao Paulo (Uniao Leiria), Jose Rui (Vitoria Setubal), Krum Bibishkov (Maritimo), Stephen McPhee (Beira Mar), Ze Manel (Boavista), Benni McCarthy (Porto), Ze Meyong (Vitoria Setubal) No wonder they are doing so well. They are scoring and spreading out the offense.
This sucks Braga started so good, oh well We can make it up by beating a so far strong Maritimo side next week.
This was one of the best games this season, Vitória de Setúbal and Braga showed why they are in top places. I also think Jorginho won´t stay in Vitória de Setubal after December and João Tomás is scoring goals again, maybe Scolari is watching...
