If you can get off early to watch the game, where will you watch it?

I tried to get the Galaxy to open the Stadium Club but they don't have the budget to do it. Guess its not a regular restaurant if it costs them $1500 just to open it. You'd think they could make some $$ off the happy hour.

So that leaves us with the Underground (too much traffic unless you're already down there).

Sigi's old haunt at the German club.

I asked about Paradise Cafe near the stadium but the FO didn't think it would happen.

There's a place at the OC border not too far from the stadium. My friend Janette is checking with Jak's Bristo on Valley View (22 & 405 Fwy juncture). They have a great bar/restaurant and happy hour specials.

Another OC haunt in Orange doesn't always get the FoxW channel and they don't know why.

For those in LA area there's Fox & Hounds - not too happy with that place myself but lots of blokes like it.

Then there's good 'ole Pasadena with PZ's hangout.

The only competition on tv is the Lakers at 7:30 so it should be good for most.

"Hey how about The Pitchers at the Torrance Marriot?"

Only if others come but that's an idea. We reserved Jak's Bistro in case others want to go there but if people like the Marriott that's cool, too. I know the Hilton gets Fox Sports World. Does the Marriott? or HDNet? I know I drove around to a bunch of places for a WCQ game. Hilton didn't have it at the time but they do now. Wound up at Alpine Village and a bunch of the German patrons didn't know the game was on but they watched with me.

6740 what's that? Its in Whittier which might be doable.

I was thinking about Lucky Baldwin but my friend may not be able to make it there. I'm taking off work even if I get off at 1pm.

I still like Jak's and hope anyone else near the 405/22 Fwys can make it there.

Has anyone ever been to MaxSports in South Gate? It's listed on the G's website as an away game viewing party place. I've never been there, but it is probably the closest to my work. Any info/thoughts would be appreciated...
