As an Aussie fan- I was just wondering what the feel was like for big Dukes- do the Boro fans like him- love him- think he's the best player since sliced bread?

And will he stay or is he going- whats the news on that?

    Can anyone help me out?

    Well....

Start of the season, I was doubting him a bit, he hadn't really proved himself.

This season, he's proven to me that he's well worth the 4.5 m we paid.

Some of his goals have been fantastic, and he makes our team tick at the moment.

Well we knew that down here already ;) :)

Glad to see that the clubs supporters are behind him fully!

I saw in the press the song they've penned for him- great stuff!!

Hope he keeps potting in the goals for many years to come!

Viduka, not as good as his Leeds days, then again he was much younger.

still a v.good player and very physical and strong, may not be as fast or as creative, but he has got an eye for goal and he hardly ever loses the ball cheaply, holding the ball well. When he was at Leeds he was much faster and constantly going forward but with Boro, he seems to like to slow down the game and hold the ball and make a lot more back passes.

he still got couple of years in him in the EPL....but the big Q is with who?

    Mark Viduka....

He's got bags of talent, but just doesn't seem to have his heart in it! His ability really makes him probably the best Aussie (even better than Mark Bresciano and Harry Kewell), but Viduka could do well to take a page out of Tim Cahill's work rate.

If Viduka puts in the effort, I could see him as averaging 15 EPL goals a season with possibility of getting 20 even!

Well now, that is the problem, isn't it???

    Half-hearted interest = mediocre player.
