Due to financial problems several of the MLS teams are having, the idea of making a popular team, most of all of Mexican origin, part of the league, will inject new life into the league and with that an increase in ticket sales and subsequently a growing interest, which the league hasn't quite experienced.

To show that its not just the "anglophone" press that does bad spanish-->english translations.

Vergara, who also owns the Saprisa club in Costa Rica and is trying to buy Atlético from Madrid, says that "with the Chivas name to back things up, success is a sure thing for the MLS."
