I think it's like in the US when they read you your Miranda rights. You have the right to remain silent, since anything you say could be used against you in a trial?
Obviously, but defensively if he’s in the starting lineup in the away games vs City, Liverpool, and Newcastle, Arsenal may need to make some tactical tweeks to cover for his lack of recovery speed.
If I’m interpreting the bits and pieces of reporting we saw back in the summer correctly, the June 22 allegation was the one brought by the woman who was going all in with the accusations on Twitter and who also had a previous relationship with him. I missed the fact that the Feb 22 case was reported in July 22 in the short article linked to the tweet. If it was reported in July, then it sounds like the police conducted their investigation and then brought him back in for additional questioning last month. The fact that they had addition questions for him may prove problematic.
The articles are a re-hash of stuff that already happened, this was known when the bail was extended to July
When did you find out about the 3rd complainant? He was only questioned about it last month - i have never seen this reported before?
Exactly (and I think I stated how/why I don't open those rags). And you too... you don't answer my questions, even though you might have the info right in your head? p.s. The most important question is whether this new 3rd allegation is the only one outstanding? Or are there others that are still pending, which haven't been dismissed/resolved already?
it was also my understanding that the third complaint was new, but someone, I’m not going to go back and look for who, disabused me of that notion saying that the third complaint was part of everything that came to light last summer. We’ve probably already spent too much time on this. In the end it’s all speculation on our part.
🚨 Exclusive news confirmed: Thomas Tuchel becomes new FC Bayern head coach, full agreement in place. He has already accepted the job. #FCBayernContract agreed, documents are being prepared tonight. pic.twitter.com/HFnOSwoU1m— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) March 23, 2023 Just wow
The Partey thing is a ********ing mess, but until he is charged with anything Arsenal are doing what they should. Legal systems in most countries are innocent until proven guilty. If he is a scummer who did this shit, charge him, jail him, throw away the key. If he didn't do it, well he isn't getting an apology and will be tainted with these incidents. But either way, Arsenal shouldn't do anything until he is charged.
Sliding doors: Hodgson back in at Palace; Vieira to USMNT?? Ps. I’d rather see someone better lead the Yanks into North America ‘26
Saka played 85’ in Napoli tonight. Maybe he’ll get more of a rest next game? I assume he came off for technical reasons. I didn’t see any mention of an injury. How did our other players do today? In other matches??
No. This is new information. it has now been reported for the first time in the Guardian if you want to see it written up properly. we knew about 2 incidents last summer. A third was then alleged by a new complainant but not reported until yesterday. one of the original cases has been dropped for technical reasons to do with the legislation as it happened outside of the UK
