Okay, let’s assume that’s true. At the time we were being led by a corrupt sleazebag who wouldn’t do anything without payola for himself and his agent cronies. What do you want us to do about it now?

He wants us to say he told us so.

Which is silly. We knew about Nagelsmann, and he probably wasn't available. We even loaned out Reiss Nelson (who was probably our hottest prospect then) to Hoffenheim.

He wants us to say “oh wow you’re so right, Germans are so cool” despite all evidence to the contrary

For the first time in history, three managers from the same country lost in the CL Quarterfinals.

The reality is RBL is the place you go to further your career. Look at Nagelsmann now, whereas if he came to Arsenal, at best we'd be a non-competitive club trying to get 4th, whereas he may well get the Bayern job

If Flick goes, will RBL release him? If Flick stays, presumably he stays at RBL another year ....

If he doesn't get Bayern i think it's interesting what he does.

Depends on how the dominoes fall. Leipzig is a great situation for him, so he can be picky. So much depends on what happens at Real and Barca, and the Chelsea job is only ever six bad matches away.

As a follow up, he got two more today, but it wasn’t enough, both Tottenham and Everton drop points.

That result was pretty good for us. We can close 2 points on both of them if we do the business on Sunday.

And as an added plus Kane tweaked his ankle a bit right at the end.

Flappy being flappy again today? 2-0 against WHU at HT, where he was at Direct fault for both goals. I genuinely feel bad for the guy.

Edit: then the soap opera continued… Newcastle up a man took their foot off the gas and allowed them to equalize. Then another gunner old boy willock comes on in 80th minute and puts a 3rd past his old teammate. The game-winner?? 8 mins added So who knows!

Toon up 2-0 against 10 men haha. What an absolute calamity of a match.

West Hams loss has opened the door for Liverpool to finish in the Top 4, if they beat Leeds they are even on points with West Ham and will only have one remaining game with a top half of the table team, United. West Ham have two such games, Chelsea and Everton, while Chelsea have 5.

If the loss triggers an implosion at West Ham, that improbably allows Arsenal to finish in the Top 6, we’ll owe Willock a bonus.

BTW, I’m nit picking, but Willock was 14 when Fabianski left, technically they were never teammates.

The Newcastle win goes a long ways towards keeping them away from relegation. And you have to think the way Willock is contributing, they will want to make a deal to acquire him on a permanent basis. They wouldn't be able to afford him if they go down.

Yeah I figured there wasn’t a ton of overlap, but I guessed they might’ve seen each other at Colney. Maybe not? Anyway 2 Gunners conspiring today to save NUFC and Bruce from the drop.
