Watching Women's World Cup coverage, Galavision has Veronica Paysse outside of Crew Stadium doing reports and such.

I hope this is just a second gig for her and MLS hasn't discarded her.

She was equally as "insightful" in Spanish as in English, IMO.

    Hows that? She was awful.

Apart from looking pretty she did the worst interviews.

I agree she looked like a street walker with those big gaudy earings and that caked on make up. Plus her interviews were not that good. Now that WUSA is done we have plenty of cute American born women that can conduct an interview with out having me close my eyes and reach for a spanish to English Dictionary

You got that right. Can Heather Mitts do the sideline reporting next year? -- or even the rest of this year?

Maybe she (or someone equally attractive) can replace Harkes on FSW Report.

It's hardly likely ESPN has an exclusive contract with her considering she just does the short pieces.
It would mean nothing for her ESPN work.

I don't reeally care one way or the other but just so you know, she did a halftime piece last week during the Rapids at Revs game on ESPN2.

Maybe now Ronie has time to do that playboy pictoral, "women sideline reporters of MLS."

Mitts was terrible on Saturday. I know she is not a media person but she was not very inciteful and that "deer in a headlights" look will not win over any fans. I know she is attractive but her sitting dumbfounded made her look a lot less attractive.

It was always fun to play 'What Color Thong am I Wearing' when she did Fire games.

It was leopard print in tight leather pants, when she bent over right infront of the Cauldron in KC.

I've always thought that her less-than-perfect looks and really less-than-perfect interviewing skills made Paysee that much more endearing.

Girls are all the same. They make it look 'like an accident', but we know.

    Re: Deer in headlights

Funny, I found her to be quite insightful and a decent presenter (especially for a newbie)...

She didnt really make any mistakes and came across as knowledgable IMO...

I actually hope MLS hires her after the cup. With a little more expereicne and training, coupled with her looks, she cant hurt the ratings....

What exactly did you see wrong with her?

At worst, she is still better than sopme of teh clowns we have annoucing MLS games.

Mitts is just a soccer player, not a media person. I was really surprised to see her in the ABC studio last weekend. She is pretty popular in Philadelphia and once in a while would be invited on Comcast SportsNight or on the sports talk radio station. She got to do Comcast TV interviews with Manchester United players when they were in Philly this summer, and she did a pretty good job. She also had to deal with the players flirting with her on camera. But, every time I've seen her on TV or heard her on the radio she seems well spoken.

Yeah, I think this girl really does know her soccer. Sure she dresses a bit over the top sometimes, but once in KC we set and had a good 5 minute conversation about our team and the upcoming WC. Then she bent over after dropping something and made our day with the leapord thong. :D

Are there NO GENTLEMAN in Kansas City? A lady drops something, a gentleman picks it up for her.

Didn't your mother teach you manners? ;)

Ditto, but Heather Mitts vs Paysee? First off, whoever has that choice is a lucky man, but (in the words of Lt. Weinberg) I would take Mitts once a day and twice on Sunday.

Where in the world did she come from? No way did she look that good when she was playing, otherwise I would have moved to Atlanta and set up camp outside the stadium.
