Hey all, A few friends and I were debating the merits of taking a trip to Las Vegas for a few days during the greatest fecking sporting event mankind has to offer. It could be great fun, considering how many people from overseas are in LV at any given time. Add the gambling on games and free booze while doing so, and you've got a potentially awesome situation! Has anyone ever been there during the WC? And if so, how was it? I know the games will be on early, but in LV, I know I'll be up at 8am, probably eating some steak and eggs while drunk as hell! So who's with me!? Gimme your input.
uh, well, I've lived in Vegas most of my life. I guess if you're into partying and drinking and whatnot it would be a good time. There isn't any "special" events here held for the World Cup though. Maybe for the Final. I'm leaving this shittown and going to Germany though. haha.
Been to vegas alot, not a real soccer town though. Had to go to about 8 casinos before I found games in a sport book. Be sure to check with the casino's before you make plans to see if the sport books will have games on the big screens.
