No respect for the sexy latinas. :)

And in this case, there is plenty of inference. It goes something like, "They left the casino together and were last seen entering his hotel room together. Van der Sloot left the room, alone, several hours later." Who is not going to think there was some sex happening.

One report, I forget where, said that the hotel staff person who walked into the room and saw the body saw Flores with black panties, a shirt and a towel covering her. It was either from bbc.co.uk or cnn.com but sourced Peruvian media.

Dude, you missed the point. Nobody said they don't care about Holloway. It's just there are equally big stories out there that don't get reported at all because a story that's already been beaten to death needs to be brought up a couple hundred times more.

I heard that *whoosh* all the way from here.

The point is you claimed that aria plays the victim card when he doesn't play the victim card because you believe him to be black and that's how you see black people, as people who play the victim.

You unintentionally betrayed your racism with that post.

He didn't strangle her. He says he beat her and broke her neck that way and the Peruvian police confirm that's what happened. Why people can't stick to the facts on here I don't know.

Like I said, being Dutch I've probably seen a lot more of Van der Sloot and know a lot more about him and his family than most of you do. The boy is a sociopath. But that in turn makes me unsure about his confessions. Truth is he's confessed to a lot of weird things that he hasn't done. That's why I don't rule out the possibility of him not having killed both Holloway and this Peruvian girl.

so you think somebody might have slipped in through the window while Van der Sloot was taking a shower? There is nothing the media has reported that indicate there is even a possibility that he did not kill Flores, "this Peruvian girl."

I know Van der Sloot which is why I doubt everything he confesses to.

It is strange how pretty girls keep dying around him. He's like James Bond that way.

    I know! Like I said he's a freak but I don't believe a word he says.

I'll give an example. He was framed in Thailand by a Dutch journalist when he was claiming that he had set up a prostitute/slave trade. None of that was actually true. You have to be pretty sick to actually want people to believe that you're a women trafficker when you're actually not. That's how his mind works.

    He's a complete idiot.

It also pisses me off that he as the privileged son of a judge talks street papiaments. Like a white suburban rich boy doing gangsta rap.

    You're an idiot.

On to your point, equally big stories huh? I guess that the media should just quit their job until something that has never occurred in the history of the world happens. Because hell, new news happening again is not worth reporting; we sure as hell don't want to beat a dead horse.

Umm, no. Thank you for that generalization though. Runs along the same thinking as your previous post that I allow Conservatives and Israeli sympathizers to play the victim card because I don't call them out on it. Do you want to keep backpedalling?

I would feel a little bit of compassion for Auria and wouldn't accuse him of playing the victim card, if in outside conversations with him, I was told to try and teach people about racism.

Take away his confessions and he still looks guilty as can be.

Yeah, because that's what I wrote.

Yeah and you fail to see the big picture. Because well that's what most of you all do, miss the big picture.

Those news networks have one priority - make money. So if that means reporting on a new development for an existing story, then that is what they will do. Unless you want them to only report on things that haven't happened before.

Compassion???? No one asked for or even wants any compassion from you, you semen-belching imbecile. I wouldn't expect you to be able to teach anyone about racism anyhow. And what's this hraka about outside conversations anyway? How the ******** would you expect to have an outside conversation with me when this is the Internet?

Good one with the name calling. Original and cute. I think that its about on par with a 5th grader's.

You wouldn't expect me to able to teach anyone about racism? Why, because I'm white? Because I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth? Because I haven't experienced it like others, like minorities do?

No, you wouldn't want to teach anyone about racism, your view is to just say screw 'em. Which is interesting, because Gen. McChrystal feels differently than you do.

Outside the PC&E forum - you know from some messages a few months back. Good memory.

They can probably get a conviction easily without a confession here. They have security video of the two entering the room around 6 in the morning (I think). You have him leaving the room and coming back. You have her dead by 8:30. You have VS attempting to leave the country? (I think that is right, but honestly, I'm not following details that closely). Unless the same security camera captures someone going into the room while he was out, then there is simply no one else. The fact that all of the known facts line up perfectly with his confession is gravy.

One interesting detail in this. I read that, if convicted, there is a maximum 35 year sentence for murder there. That seems crazy to me. A kid his age could presumably get the harshest sentence, serve the whole thing and still be relatively young (late middle age) when he gets out.

We're used to life sentences for 3 strikes - shoplifting, stealing a car & burglary for instance. Not that this kid doesn't deserve to be dropped in a hole with pit vipers and alligators, but for various reasons (probably cost) other countries don't incarcerate the massive amount of people that we do.

Save the state some money and kick his ass into the street with a sign around his neck that says "I like to kill girls for fun" Die Hard style.

Here a US-style life sentence would be unconstitutional. Life sentence exists as the maximum penalty, but most convicted are paroled after +/- 20 years.

Still has quite solid circumstantial evidence, apparently, saying he killed Flores. Until I read/hear a report about an alternative possibility...
