Correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt the majority of AC fans are Surinamese. Nor was the guy who just posted. And last I checked Surinam is not a Dutch colony anymore....

So David's is going to play in this WC? When was the last time he's been called up Van Basten?

He actually captained for Van Basten at first. Then he went through a long period of not playing first team football in Italy, which is when he was dropped.

it doesn't matter how he plays for milan (which is not as good as you suggest) because he always acts as if he is above everyone else on ORANJE and then goes out and plays shit football

    end. of.

This is outrageously false. Hell, he was just on the Fifa team of the year 2 years ago or so.

Damn right we do. I still hold him in high regard. He is a quality midfielder and I don't care what anyone else says. Even if he was left out its not a big deal. Let the young guns take over.

Despite the country's hatred for him, Seedorf is having a good season for Milan. Too bad he never plays for the NT like he does for the Rossoneri though. What is everyone's starting XI?

I rate him highly, just not for Oranje. Same with Makaay. Quality players for their clubs, but just not for our national team.

There is no such thing as a starting XI, but for the match against Argentina, I'd use these players:

    -----------------Van Nistelrooy-----------------
    --Robben-----------------------------Castelen--
    --------------------Sneijder--------------------
    ---------Cocu-------------------Landzaat------
    --------------------Boateng--------------------
    ---------Mathijsen---Ooijer---Boulahrouz--------
    ------------------Van der Sar-------------------

Argentina have no defensive strong wingbacks (if Heinze is out), so I'll let Castelen and Robben take them on. Boateng is there only to take out Riquelme and Cocu and Landzaat do the dirty work for Sneijder, Robben and Castelen.

when i look at the team hes selected (so far) i just think wheres the strength in defence... it defo does not look like a WC winning team.

Conceding three goals throughout the qualifying campaign clearly proves they're a shower defensively.

But I meant his play for our national team.
If only seedorf played as well for club as he does for Oranje

Castelen has been Feyenoord's best player for weeks.

There's a reason they prefer not to use him in a four men backline. I consider him overrated, he's flashy, but not that good. Nothing Robben can't take care of anyway.

Basten was brilliant again yesterday. Did anyone else see his commentary about the politicians? :D

Judging on what I've seen of Tottenham this year, Davids is no where near as good as he used to be and I'm surprised he would be able to make Holland's team.

Zanetti overrated? I'd be very happy to have him in the Oranje defense.

Then again, I'd be happy with a lot of right fullbacks for this squad. But Zanetti is definately not worldclass, in my opinion.
